Nice Ambiance and Barister; So/So Decaf

I stopped by here late this morning for the first time. There are three other locations: Dove Mountain (Marana); Oro Valley; and La Encantada. This one (the original store) charmed me with its long mesquite bar and chairs, the bench with pillows that stretched along a wall and small tables. Only... read more

One of my clients recommended this place for the next time I came to Tucson! So when I landed and was met with the 92 degrees of dry warm weather...I thought I would give it a try because I could really use an iced coffee!! This place did not disappoint. I had the 'Toddy' cold brew with a banana muffin... More

Although I am a daily drinker of coffee and have been all my live, I have to first have to admit that I am not one who is fond of anything but "traditional" black coffee. With that said, I had a cup of Nicaraguan coffee. To me, it was coffee, nothing special. Sure I can taste the difference between the... More

Unfortunately I wasn't able to get a special brew on my visit, because I was on the run and needed a to-go cup, but the pre-brew they had was delicious. Dark roasted just how I like it. I was a little disappointed at the lack of food choices - I think there was a croissant and a trail mix bar... More

This is a small coffee shop in a strip mall. They don't offer much else but coffee and the prices are a little expensive. (Their coffee beans, all organic and some roasted upon request, are particularly expensive, mostly $16 - 18 range but some are a lot more and I even saw a couple of them in three-digit price per pound.)... I had a French vanilla latte to go & it was pretty good. The place is a little small & cramped, but the barista was friendly. Quick & efficient service.

Savaya was recommended to me by someone at the gym I dropped in at. It was a narrow space, but cozy with seating at the bar, as well as tables. I got a spicy chai latte with a shot of espresso and almond milk! Most places don't carry almond milk, so I always get excited when I get it. Savaya... More

We don't often drink the fancy coffee drinks, just want an excellent robust cup of coffee. We did not find it at this coffee shop. This is what they do, we saw no evidence of any baked item or sweet, so we expected a really good cup of coffee. What we received was lukewarm from a pump pot and the... More

We tried Savaya at La Encantada the other day, after having passed it by a number of times. In fact, after a recent breakfast at one of our favorite restaurants, Jaspers, we headed over to Le Buzz when the "we need good coffee" bug hit us. Savaya at this location is a small shop where they craft each cup. The... More

This is one of those coffee/tea shops that are hidden in a strip mall and not so visible from the street. However, once you've had their warm lingering ginger chai latte, you know you can't go anywhere else for your chai fix. Savaya roasts their own coffee beans and even hold batista classes for the interested. The green tea leaves... More
