We had just hiked Pima Canyon and were tired and hungry. We stopped at the Tucson Tamale Company around lunchtime. There was a line that moved quickly. People were happy and all seemed to be enjoying their food. You have many different types of tamales to try and also great vegan choices. You can eat inside or sit on the... More

We love the great and fresh tamales. Easy in and easy out. We go for a quick dinner and lunch and sometimes buy a few to take home, too.

While traveling on business the name and facility of this restaurant caught my attention. I never had a tamale, so its a perfect opportunity. small cozy place with limited seating, maybe 5 tables and 4 booths. Primarliy just tamales on the menu. You select the # of tamales and the # of sides. They have traditional meat (beef, chicken and... More

While visiting my aunt and uncle in Tucson, they took me here for tamales. I love Mexican food and this restaurant had the widest variety of tamales I've ever seen. I had the Blue Tamale (blue masa, veggies and cheese) and the Sonora (chicken and green chile sauce). Both were very tasty-I liked the Blue better and the homemade green... More

The Blue is one of our most popular tamales... and the green salsa is by far our most popular! Thanks for writing a review. More

This is one of our favorite places to get tamales. They have great variety and they are so good that we also order online and have them shipped to us in Phoenix.

Spending Thanksgiving apart, our daughter sent her elderly parents a TG care-package of turkey-cranberry tamales with 2 packs of sweet pumpkin. We needed an instant dinner this week, so we dug in early. The 1st tamale contained one cranberry; the 2nd contained four. They were tasty, but not over the top, and heavy on the cornmeal; lean on consistency. Later... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review. We're so sorry the tamales were not up to standard! All of our tamales are made by hand, so we take extra care to make sure they are as consistent as possible. We apologize your tamales weren't. Your review helps us refine this process, and we hope we... More

The Good: Pricing is reasonable and they have an amazing variety of combinations of stuffing, something for everyone, even vegetarians and vegans. The Not so Good: The tamales are mostly corn with barely enough ingredients inside to give them much flavor so they taste like you're eating a big pile of starchy corn. To me they were far to bland.... More

The green corn tamales, while not as good as my mother-in-law's, definitely meet the need when it's not the season but you're craving them. The olive and beef ones are delicious as well. Reasonably priced, quick, and delicious tamales.

We found parking right away. Santa Fe tamale was what my wife loved. I had blue tamale and Wisconsin tamale. Guacamole was delicious. We met the owner. Very nice lady. The girls who took our order were very helpful, since my wife didn't know what a tamale was or how to eat it, minus the husks.
