The food here is always excellent, and it has a different take on typical Mexican food. While it has the classic Sonoran Dog (not to be missed), it has a very interesting mix of dishes that never fail to please. Very popular place.

We snowbirds have been to La Olla Mexican Cafe several times in the past three winters. We have yet to be disappointed in our food or service. The food is tasty, served hot and promptly, but rather mild, so if you are looking for very spicy Mexican food, I suspect this isn't the place for you. My husband always orders... More

My family and I go here when they have their groupon out. My mom purchases it and that's dinner. We've been a total of 5 times and have never had a bad experience with anything. The service and food have been wonderful.

They make it better.... Overpriced... No fajitas....meager menu... And at least employ a Latino then as waiter!! Service is slow and not really cordial.... Nicely decorated.... Live close by and that is why we went... Would not go back.... What else can I say....

When we got in the place, there were only 3 other people in this tiny restaurant. Yet, it took 10 min to get menus and another 10 min to get our order taken. We waited almost 30.min to get our two entree salads. The salads were good, but not worth the wait to get them. The server never did brung... More

My wife and I are visiting Tucson. It was a thirty minute ride from our hotel to La Olla but worth the trip. The restaurant was difficult to find in the dark but thanks to our GPS we located it. We received a friendly greeting and were immediately seated. The service was very prompt and attentive, The salsa and chips... More

Excellent food, nice cozy place and off the beaten path. Food is different from other Mexican restaurants in Tucson but better. The flan desert was the best I ever had.

Been here one other occasion and was so unimpressed it's taken us a year to return. If we want Mexican food, we usually hop on the freeway and head to south 4th avenue. But this time we stayed in town and tried La Olla again, because we were hungry and Marana has few dining options. I had the tostada/chicken taco... More

A friend took me to the La Olla Mexican Café and it was my first visit to the place. The quality of the food was good with a lot of amazing variety in the form of salsas, chips, nachos, sandwiches and lots more! Every item had a great taste and I cannot stop myself from saying that the dishes were... More
