Was staying in the area for a couple of days and looked to Tripadvisor to assist us with our evening meal. Chose this restaurant based on it's reviews and was not disappointed as it was some of the best Mexican food I have eaten. As we were staying in downtown Tucson, the driving directions were not the best as it... More

Not a fancy place, but a good one! Liked the chips and salsa, and all of our entrees as well. The nachos were great as an appetizer. Staff was nice, and the place got really crowded as we were leaving. Yummy cheesy veggies as a side, and also liked the rice and beans. Good chile relleno, too!

Have been going to La Olla's since before it was discovered. Wait staff and owner(if they are not overwhelmed with customers-otherwise the owner/chef is busy preparing the next meal) all shower you with attention. Food is great and a little known secret is that, if you are a regular (by that I mean, if you have eaten there often), you... More

We ate here twice during our stay, the food was great for both lunch and dinner. More choicesare available for lunch. There are your traditional options and then some more unique items that we tried that tasted so good. Even the vegetable side was something new to us and tasted so goood we are trying to find a recipe. Prices... More

La Olla has great food and drink. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Cheese crisp is like no other Mexican restaurant. Use of fresh ingredients is very evident.

We liked the food and atmosphere, real Mexican cooking on real plates ( colorful ). You can get a Groupon alot of times too if you are a thrifty person.

Wow: what a lovely place to grab dinner on the north side of Tucson! The staff was remarkably friendly with a genuine spirit, the prices were extremely reasonable, and the food... Spectacular! I had the carnitas, which came with tamale pie and calabacitas and the best (homemade) tortilla ever. I'd read reviews of the desserts and wanted to save room---but... More
