Good Special available

Stopped for their advertised special on the web - Stretch your dough special - which includes an appetizer (we had garlic bread with lots of cheese), a side salad, pizza, and tiramisu. All for $20. The food was good, but not outstanding. The floor needed to be swept even though the place had only... read more

Service was great at this place. We were excited by the prospect of wood fired oven pizza and made-on-site pastas. We were disappointed by dry red wine served cold, pizza that was underdone and bland and an oily mess at the bottom of the shrimp scampi. I suspect this place can do better, but if all meals are served this... More

My wife and I were wanting to go out for a post Black Friday dinner and remembered this was away from all the shopping centers. There are menus on a table as you walk in and ordering is done at the Bar/Counter. I went for the margherita pizza and my wife went for the turkey sandwich. The food came out... More

Great Brick Oven Pizza, some even have white sauce! There's other Italian dishes all great tasting. They serve craft beer which my husband loves. We enjoy the atmosphere, they even have 4 tables for outdoor seating which we enjoy in nice weather. The downfall is the lack of service. You go up to the counter and order your food and... More

Visited this place with a group of 12 people. They accommodated us very quickly. The menu has a great variety to satisfy anyone. Portions are good, their Italian bread with cheese it's simply fantastic. Our food arrived very promptly, our server made sure there was no empty glasses at all times. Would definitely recommend this one.

They serve a very tasty artisan wood fired pizza. One size only but good for two. Beer selection is above average for a pizza joint, the atmosphere is more coffee shop. Nice mix. Servers are always over the top friendly and make you feel welcome. Short walk across the parking lot from the movie theater for a dinner & show... More

The pizza crust and pasta are housemade and they are really, really good. It also serves sandwiches with fresh bread during lunch. We visit Dry River frequently and this is one of our regular places. The only complaint is beer prices. They're expensive and not listed on the board. I wish there was more transparency.

Our first impression was not good (mostly empty parking lot at 6pm on a Saturday night?)...and our 2nd wasn't much better. Ordering at the counter for dinner? No, thanks! This is east Tucson, not a college campus or downtown. There were no booths or kids' menus, making it a poor choice for family dining. The pizzas were fast and delicious,... More

I liked the pizza. But, I will never eat there again. The middle-aged blonde bar tender (with the cheap back tattoos) always has a scowl on her face, is rude, and just bad at her job. Going out to eat is a treat in our family and I would rather not deal with rude and poor service.

After a couple of years driving by and wondering what Dry River was about, we stopped in a couple of weeks ago and again tonight. We love this cozy, warm vibed place with the great wood fired pizza. Shrooms is our favorite so far. Also love the wondrously perfect homemade balsamic vinaigrette...I'm pretty picky about salad dressing. Delicious bruschetta too.... More
