Wonderful

Had lunch with a friend who has been here several times. Had the Penne Sausage dish and the Manicotti both were huge portions and both fantastic. Sauce light but oh so flavorful. Prices fantastic, had a sample of the two wines we were thinking of so we could decide. Waiter gave us great sevice... read more

had a reservation- place was crowded but were seated right away: then waited, and waited, and waited for a server. There was a table of 10 behind us, so we figured they were just busier than they had planned to be, so we tried to be patient. First, the drink that I ordered came out wrong- and when I finally... My wife and another couple - seniors - made dinner reservations for Saturday 630 PM, March 14 . Arrive on time, no tables available. Hostess says 20 minutes max. 35 minutes later we are seated - all waiting seats taken, so we stand around. No one waits on us for 10 minutes after being seated. We all decide to order... More

This place was close to where we were staying while visiting Tucson, and decided to try it. A charming small restaurant with outdoor (heated) and indoor seating. Outdoor seating has a nice view of the mountains. Loved the decor! Checkered tablecloths. Quiet enough to visit easily with friends. The wait staff was extremely friendly. Our server explained that they were... More

We had the pleasure of having dinner here twice while on our visit to Tucson with friends. Everyone's meal was thoroughly enjoyed. In fact I would say it was the best eggplant parmigiana I have ever tasted. Just one thing. The portions are huge so go very hungry or get ready to take some dinner home with you. The prices... The night we visited, which was a Thursday, the restaurant was very busy and therefore service was slow. However, the menu was quite extensive and very Italian. However, no pizza. We had muscles and salads, both of which were very good. Our friends had more traditional italian and were impressed. We would go there again when in Tucson

Some of the worst service I have received in a Tucson restaurant, a shame since the food is good and the prices are excellent. Our meals (6 entrees) finally arrived in one and a half hours, (the waitress forgot to put the order in). We asked for the manager after an hour of waiting and he arrived 15 minutes later... More

Very disappointing. The starter (stuffed mushrooms) was inedible. A near raw mushroom to the centre with ... I genuinely don't-know-what, caked around the outside. It was was sort of greenish-brown mush that tasted horrid. The main course (chicken) was barely acceptable too. The service was extremely slow but in fairness, the Gem Show was in town and the place was... More

If you are looking for very good Italian food, good wine at really reasonable prices....helpful friendly staff....then Guiseppe's is the place. Be sure to make a reservation as they are quite popular. Lunch here is exceptional. Portions are very generous. Love the mussels - all the salads are great - especially Napa. Fettuccini Alfredo with the homemade sausage is a... More

We've eaten here a couple of times before and have not been disappointed. We arrived at 6 pm on a Tuesday, sat outside on the patio, and were comfortable under the heating system. We had no reservations but it might not be a bad idea to make one. A local magazine, delivered in the mail, has 3 coupons, 1 of which... More
