Just looking and found a great place to eat-

Finished business early. Went home showered, shaved and went looking for dinner. Found this place. Food was very good, I had BBQ brisquet, my wife had ribs. Neither of us was disappointed. Will go again if we get in the area. Cool because had people from our age to 4-5 years old. This is mostly a... read more

We ordered pork ribs and beef brisket, and they were dry, and lacking that special smoky flavor achieved through long and slow cooking. The brisket was the worst. It was so dry, we threw away half of the order. If you are looking for the real southern BBQ, this is not it. One really has to go to the south, specially... More

Just personal preference or perhaps where I was raised-Texans believe they invented bar-b-que-but THE PERFECT brisket should have substance when you bite into it. Not too dry, not too floppy. Brushfire's offering is too soft- the consistency of chopped beef!. Pulled pork is great, sides-especially the baked potato- good/very good, sauces excellent but the sliced beef prevents me from giving... More

I love ribs. I love bbq sauces. Brushfire was said to have the best of both in Tucson. I totally disagree. In my opinion, good ribs fall off the bone. At Brushfire, we had to tear the meat off the bone of each rib, picking bits of meat out of our teeth during and after. I happily sampled every sauce... More

The pulled pork sandwich was a great choice for lunch. I ordered it with seasoned fries, which were very good. The location is very close to the University which was perfect for me. We were actually headed to a different restaurant and decided this sounded better. We were very happy to have come here.

The deliciousness of the pull-pork sandwich is still in my mind! The seasoned fries were also very good. I wouldn't bother with the sweet potato again because it is chunks of sweet potato in way too much liquid. The house potato salad was very odd, with various "things" in it which were kind of mysterious. I wouldn't say it was... More

The Jackalope Man really liked the food here. The young lady who helped him was friendly and helpful. This is a casual place that will get some more of The Jackalope Man's money soon.

My wife, sons and I thoroughly enjoyed our evening meal here tonight. We wanted something meaty and substantial and that's what you get here. I can't believe the people bleating on here about counter service - have an adventure and do something new. Where I live in England almost all places are counter service. The ribs were meaty and packed... More

As a combination restaurant / Fast Food / Bar I liked it. The food was good and the extras table was constantly replenished. Good combination of Fast food and pub atmosphere. Very crowded with college age and hipsters...I liked the ambiance,
