Ordering the Brisket and pulled pork sandwich. We were not impressed! The brisket was mildly smoke flavored, but super dry. The pulled pork overcooked as well. The sauces were ok, pretty run of the mill. The sides we ordered,...well again, they were just ok. The sweet potatoes were clearly poured out of the can juice and all, they added a... More

Accidentally found this place while driving into Tucson. It is in a strip mall and the sign is difficult to see, however if your windows are rolled down you will not have a problem finding it. They offer 6 different BBQ sauces, I did the sweet and bold on my brisket and it was yummy. The sides that were delicious... More

In fact it's not exactly like any BBQ I've ever had in any state. I'm not saying it was horrible, it was just different. The brisket looked like it had been heated on the grill and the pulled pork was a bit spicy. Although there was a variety of BBQ sauces, the ones we tried were thin, runny and unremarkable.... More

I cook brisket at home and the secret to tender brisket is to cook it long enough. This basic rule is ignored at Brushfire. The brisket was like rubber. If i'm paying $15 for a meal , I expect tender meat. I won't be going back.

For being a small place, they turn out some great BBQ! Between the four of us we sampled, smoked brisket, HOT Italian sausage, baby backs, and regular "sticky" ribs. The sides were great as well, creamy coleslaw and killer deviled egg potato salad! I will be back!

Bland meat and potatoes, and not much else. No fresh veg on the menu at all, although they do serve some sort of stewed green beans. It's all high calorie food comfort food. I tried the 'smokey chipotle' (listed as three star spicy on the menu) sauce on my sandwich, which was neither smokey nor spicy. In fact I couldn't... More

Large size servings, tasty flavorings. The seasoned fries had a bit of sugar for a unique taste. They also have several favors of iced tea. By the order taker admission there is nothing gluten free (reason for one star deduction).

The pulled pork sandwich and brisket was pretty good. The sides were just ok. The sauces were very good and we smothered the sandwiches with plenty of it! The place has a great atmosphere and the employees are friendly and helpful. We always like to try the different BBQ joints when we travel. I have to agree with a previous... More

BrushFire offers good food and plenty of it with absolutely no frills. This is a good local joint where you order and pay at the register and then take the food to a table where you will find a six-pack of BrushFire's delicious sauces. Both the BBQ and the sides were tasty, well-prepared, and obviously made on the premises. There... More
