Sushi as good as in any city I've been to

When it comes to basic sushi, it's the fish and the rice. Even on the coasts, much of the fish is flown in, not picked up at the pier. So it's no wonder that with a great chef like June, the owner of Ginza, that the sushi as good as anywhere else in the country. What else can I say,... read more

Ginza Sushi is easy to miss. Tucked away in a shopping and restaurant plaza it has a small store front. We were personally greeted at the front door and found a nice table to sit. The atmosphere is very cozy and supportive of a pleasant dining experience where the focus is on the food. The menu offers a wide variety... More

Candidly, I was a bit skeptical when customers from Japan requested that we go to Ginza for dinner for sushi especially with my being from Los Angeles. We were immediately greeted by the owner who was very pleasant and nice. He took it upon himself to prepare everything Omakase (spelling) style and really made a wonderful effort to impress all... We used to live in Japan and have been missing Japanese food since we left good old Nippon. A friend recommended Ginza Sushi as being authentic and excellent. So far, we've been to this restaurant twice and both times we were very satisfied with the food and service. We recommend getting "nigiri sushi". The tuna and blue marlin sushi were... More

Their sushi is good. At lunch time they have specials that are reasonably priced. Dinners are pricier and not any different. Service is good.

Great food, all fresh and high quality ingredients. Every dish served looks like out of a magazine and the flavor is amazing. Definitely one of the best restaurants in town, the best japanese food you can get in Arizona.

My sister and I had a good time and a good meal here on our first visit to this restaurant. I was visiting and her friends had recommended Ginza as the best local sushi. On Saturday the place was crowded at 7 p.m, and we were glad we'd made a reservation. Lots of couples and families, including many Japanese. We... More

Spent twenty minutes searching for a place to eat on Sunday. Site says they open at noon and sign or door says 5pm. They need to improve their presence.

I frequent this restaurant at least once a week to get my sushi fix. I primarily go for lunch and get the Bento Box. Sushi, sashimi, soup and salad. Great value and excellent food.

Had a customer who wanted sushi when we were in Tucson. He read the reviews on Ginza Sushi and wanted to go there. Until a couple of years ago, I really had no interest in eating sushi or sashimi. (raw) Being that one of my neighbors owns one of the best sushi bars/Japanese steak houses in the Cleveland, Ohio area,... More
