This little restaurant in downtown Tucson offers a different and more healthy take on typical Mexican food. It is very popular and has a small outdoor patio eating area. The food uses fresh ingredients and is expertly prepared. You can take a chance and let the chef's prepare a special plate with three dishes. Prices are very reasonable. They do... More

Very interesting and fun concept. Menu is delivered on a waiter held chalk board (not my favorite custom) but waiter does describe dishes well. If you choose the chefs choice ( I usually do and have never been disappointed) you will receive a plate with portions from 3 of the menu items but it is the chefs choice as to... More

Warning: CASH ONLY. Prices are higher than you'd expect for a drop-in Mexican place, but the quality is so worth it. As for the cash-only policy... Come on, it's 2014. That's not quaint or charming, it's ridiculous. Anyway, the food was very fast and service very friendly. Was a little worried about the "Hugs Mandatory" policy when I saw that... More

We have been eating at Little Poca Cosa now The Little One for 13 years. We ate there yesterday. We arrived at 1:15 pm. All outdoor seating was taken. We found a table for 4 inside. When I saw the name change I was concerned that the ownership changed. What a relief to see Sandra! When you decide on The... More

BLUF: home cooking, done better than most of us could manage. Their new name is "The Little One", same owner, same food..just different name. The Huevos Rancheros were some of the best I've had around. Perfectly done eggs with a delicious salsa and salad and fresh fruit and Pinto's and warm corn Tortilla's...quite a spread for around $8. The service... More

Little Cafe Poca Cosa is the best Mexican Cuisine in Tucson. It's not traditional Sonoran food, but an unbelievable breakfast & lunch spot. Any one of my family of 5 drive out of our way to go downtown @ least 2X per week. You go for the food, but partake in an entire experience. Sandra is a wonderful chef, who... More

Food was average, nothing special. More of serving finger food and paying full price meals. I guess it's still a trend for the college students to pay $$ for food that won't fill you up.

Too pretty to eat! Visually strong, tasty, super fresh ingredients and the owner is a riot and just someone you wanna do business with. Oh and reasonably priced, about $8. I have gone out of my way to eat there.
