not in the best location, but paid parking next to restaurant. Restaurant has a different modern motif, not a lot of atmosphere. authentic Mexican food, like eating in Mexico City. traditional vegetables, very tasty food. Menu on chalk board, changes daily. Had a steak dish, and a Cadillac Margarita. margarita tasty but on the small side. will return again.

Four of us had breakfast at the Little One. We ordered from the printed menu posted above our table on the wall. We each ordered something different...I had the eggs poblano, which were poached eggs inside a lovely roasted poblano. The meal came with excellent rice and beans and a fresh salad. The breakfast was hearty. A "green" restaurant, if... More

Pros: You can have a great, big, delicious and fresh Mexican meal right by the library, or you can have just a quick snack, prices are decent, very high energy and loud Cons: It's small and popular, so getting a table can be hit-n-miss, very high energy and loud

Loud music and hugs from the owners set the tone for this little gem. Excellent Sonoran stews with rice, beans, tortillas, salad and fruit, plus killer salsa, make this restaurant my favorite in Tucson. Added bonus, it's cheap.

It is difficult to find words enough to express the 'made to feel at home' atmosphere and abundant and excellently prepared and beautifully presented food at "The Little One" (which is what the sign on the side of the building says, in English). For a pittance of only $9.75, I was overjoyed to taste the tastiest chips and salsa I've... More

This place is a true Tucson institution and I just had to go with a friend when I was there on business last month. The owner's passion for her restaurant shows, and I love the donation box (they use the proceeds to fund charity projects). Although there are tons of business people who are regulars here, I wouldn't come here... More

This is a must visit for people visiting Tucson. Although Tucson is known for great Mexican food, surprisingly many of the Mexican restaurants are run of the mill. This one is unique and special. First, you are warmly greeted by the owner, and the interesting music playing. Then the menu is on the wall so you have the server describing... More

This is the little sister of Café Poca Cosa. The menu is similar, but that is where the resemblance ends. The owner is so sweet and caring. She loves her restaurant and it shows. The platos that my daughter and I ordered were different and very good. Each plato has 3 different entree samples. We had a great time tasting... More

My friends and I argue over who found Poca first (it was me, I took them there in 1996) If I remember correctly, Suzana had opened in an affordable location because her father's small cafe couldn't handle the demand. She went creatively upscale and the foodies followed. The food and presentation are remarkable. Despite her personal sparkle the service can... More
