Plato Poca Cosa is a sure thing!

The chef's choice, or Plato Poca Cosa, is always divine. It's a mystery of what 3 items the chef will pick for you, but it's ALWAYS delicious, healthy and fresh. Get ready for an embrace before you leave, too. They are huggers. :)

Our son, who lives in Tucson, said we must eat at this corner cafe. We were delightfully surprised with delicious fresh food nicely presented on the platters. Little Cafe Poca Cosa is open only for breakfast and lunch and since it is popular with the locals it is wise to get there early for either meal. The owner insists on... More

My husband and I visited "the little one" on the recommendation of a shop keeper during our visit to Tucson. What a priceless recommendation! I ordered the nondescript vegan tostada from the wall menu and my husband ordered the surprise trio (any three items from the menu, chef's choice.) I also ordered the half horchata, half iced coffee drink which... More

Delicious, plentiful, healthy, something for vegetarians. They make great drinks but none have alcohol/no beer or wine. The only drawback really. On the crowded side but cozy. Wait for tables but it never takes long/maybe 5 minutes. Popular with the downtown workers. Super pricing/around 10 bucks. Great true local Tucson place. You might get hugged. Cash Only.

On the recommendation of a friend, we left the resort we were staying at in order to dine at Little Cafe Poca Cosa for lunch. We were forewarned that they are only open M-F from breakfast until about 2 pm, and are cash only! Upon arrival they were very busy and we had to wait just a moment for a... More

My wife & I were walking around the old district and this came up on our list of recommended restaurants. While we were seated quickly, we were ignored for about 10 minutes for any sort of service. They have a dish which is a combo of 3 of the menu offerings, which is a great idea. But I only liked... More

This place is totally fantastic. The food is fresh, healthy, and wonderful. I can't believe that the quality and amount can be served for the regular price. It is great food and a great value. It makes me wish every lunch could be like this. Everyone else underachieves compared to Little Cafe Poca Cosa.

This was some of the most fresh and flavorful Mexican food I have ever tasted. I got the sampler platter of three different kinds of chicken. The flavors were incredible and the spices very different and flavorful for each dish. I could eat here every day and don't think I would ever tire of it. We arrived slightly before noon... More

This was my first visit to this restaurant and I will definitely be back. The food was freshly mad and the strawberry lemonade was refreshing. The waitress was attentive and friendly. The location is good, and I enjoyed the outdoor seating.

A visit to "the little one" is a yearly pleasure when attending the Tucson gem shows. After several years at once a year Sandra recognizes us and everyone gets a hug. The small cozy dining area is a quiet pleasure. The menu written on the wall has great variety for breakfast or lunch. The food is beautifully presented and of... More
