I used to live in Tucson twenty years ago. When we lived here cafe Poca Cosa was our favorite restaurant. We never had little cafe Poca cosa, but the bigger restaurant was closed the week we were there. We went and the food was as good as we remembered. My kids loved it. The only thing I missed about the... More

I eat at Little Cafe Poca Cosa every day I get a day off. I am always surprised at the freshness and the homemade quality for the value. I wish every restaurant were like this. I have in in many states and countries, but I always return to Poca Cosa because it impresses me most.

I never got a hug by the owner of a restaurant before...but that's what we got after a lunch at Little CPC. There is always a surprise choice on the menu...they pick for you. Preparation of meal was superb... Everything made with fresh ingredients. Not a big place, but they serve a very happy clientele. Owner is sister of owner... More

Had to go downtown for jury duty. On the bright side, it got me to eat at this little gem of a restaurant. Loved the surprise plate. You really can't go wrong with any of the choices. But know this is a cash only place so make sure you have enough before going in. Also, go early because parking is... More

Tucson resident who frequently eats at Little Cafe Poca Cosa for lunch and thought I should add a review. I often eat at Cafe Poca Cosa and several years ago I started eating at Little for lunch. Only breakfast and lunch served here. No alcoholic beverages -- wonderful fruit drinks, fruit-flavored lemonades and horchata more than make up for it.... More

Little Cafe Poca Cosa in downtown Tucson is Cafe Poca Cosa eccentric little sibling. Cash only. Great food. Park around the corner in the building housing the Tucson Public Library. Be prepared to wait if you arrive at noon.

Smaller, more casual but still fabulous quality and flavor. Priced nice since it's only lunch and breakfast: be forewarned, they accept cash only.

Been going seasonally for years. These people know how to run a restaurant. They are the only one with a little originality in Tucson The fresh beans. warm tortillas, fruit and vegetables on the plate and well prepared mains make it a good option though it has gotten more expensive. Service is personal and you will get attention and maybe... More

We ate here on a tip......exceeded our expectations......very good, tasty, authentic Mexican food, Oaxacan style.....ample portions, reasonably priced. The green corn tamal was mmmgood. And the taco, and the whole beans, and the salsa, and the chile rellano, and I wanted to taste everything. Limited seating and hours.....they close at 2:30. Very good service. Parking can be a problem.....downtown Tucson.... More
