My friends and I argue over who found Poca first (it was me, I took them there in 1996) If I remember correctly, Suzana had opened in an affordable location because her father's small cafe couldn't handle the demand. She went creatively upscale and the foodies followed. The food and presentation... read more

The servers are very entitled and not too friendly especially with a large group they get very flustered. The food is not all that great for the grief the servers give you and the cost

I travel to the Tucson area regularly and I am always looking for something new.Little Cafe Poca Cosa was great find located in south downtown Tucson. We arrived at lunch time on a Friday. The small dining area was full and we were asked to wait inside to keep the door closed. It's a tight fit and you feel like... More

What a great meal... super friendly, fun atmosphere... a Tucson institution lives on. The owners donate much time, effort and money to children's causes north and south of the border. They are simply the salt of the earth and run a great restaurant. Music is playing, people are happy and food is superb... what's not to like? If you want... More

One of our all time favorite lunch places. Really upbeat Mexican restaurant with an awesome mole. My son always orders the surprise combo (Plato Poca Cosa) and loves it. The music is really loud so may not be the best place for an intimate quiet talk or a serious business meeting. But it is a really fun, cheerful place and... More

They serve the best SW breakfast and/or lunch. I actually plan my arrival time so I can have lunch here, it's that good. Note that they only take cash but there is an ATM right across the street. You can park on the street or in the parking garage under the library right next door. Under an hour and no... More

Delicious! The Plato surprise was great great great. Stewed meats of amazing flavors. All dishes came beautifully and deliciously with side vegetables. The only complaint was the vegetarian options were limited. I would have liked to see some stewed vegetable. Basil ginger lemonade was oh so refreshing.

The chef's choice, or Plato Poca Cosa, is always divine. It's a mystery of what 3 items the chef will pick for you, but it's ALWAYS delicious, healthy and fresh. Get ready for an embrace before you leave, too. They are huggers. :)

Our son, who lives in Tucson, said we must eat at this corner cafe. We were delightfully surprised with delicious fresh food nicely presented on the platters. Little Cafe Poca Cosa is open only for breakfast and lunch and since it is popular with the locals it is wise to get there early for either meal. The owner insists on... More

My husband and I visited "the little one" on the recommendation of a shop keeper during our visit to Tucson. What a priceless recommendation! I ordered the nondescript vegan tostada from the wall menu and my husband ordered the surprise trio (any three items from the menu, chef's choice.) I also ordered the half horchata, half iced coffee drink which... More
