This historic hotel near the U of A exceeded all expectations. A friendly and knowledgeable staff, along with a updated room made for a memorable experience. The southwest style room had an updated bathroom, comfortable king bed and working fireplace. The restaurant served a great breakfast at a fair price. I also recommend the Happy Hour for great drinks served... More

There are many choices in Tucson. It is a city for food lovers. But, that being said, as a solo traveler, I pay attention to many small details that might g unnoticed if you're with a group or dining as a couple. First of all, the food s top notch. There is a diverse and interesting menu, obviously developed by... More

This facility and the staff are truly amazing! Best server/bartender EVER is Jerry Lohrentz . . . Professional, friendly, fun, knowledgeable, and charismatic. We had a large group and Jerry took such great care of us! He made the week for us.

The staff understands gluten intolerance for the most part and the standard menu has many dishes clearly indicating GF. They are not the only restaurant doing this, but to do it with standouts like Maple-Glazed Duck Breast and Truffle Risotto or Blue Corn Tamales is a treat. The bar has equally eclectic and well executed food as well as unique... More

We brought some out of town clients for lunch because Lodge regularly offers locally sourced food with southwestern flair. We ate on the patio, the food was delicious (the side of fruit with one sandwich was stunning!), they were out of the green tea agave lemonade but the desert flower tea was given race reviews and my prickly pear lemonade... Hands down the most dreadful dining experience I have encountered, anywhere. We visited on a Sunday, and while we were a semi-large party (9) with no reservations, the place had plenty of seating available, but we were seated outside on a chilly evening (for several of us.) Drink order was taken but one forgotten. A tasty dipping sauce (sans spoon... More

My stay was very brief so I'll keep the review brief. The room was large and very comfortable. We had a comfortable king size bed, a fire place and a spacious bathroom. The grounds are lovely with plantings of desert flora. There's plenty of parking. All of this was wonderful. Breakfast was unremarkable. Most of the breakfast entrees were heavy... More

I stayed at The Lodge for a couple of days of cycling in the sun and decided to have my breakfasts onsite because the prices on the menu are no more expensive than other breakfast restaurants I know and because obviously it is located right on the premises. Although I am not used to breakfasts with a southern twist to... More

The Lodge is a beautifully landscaped, lovely hotel. Large rooms, prompt and courteous service, everyone was friendly and smiling. The Lodge deserved a 5 rating. However, the restaurant menu is limited; the food is nothing special, and I actually fed the chicken enchiladas ($12) to my dog since I only ate a few bites. My husband resorted to ordering breakfast... More
