Very good food and outstanding service.

My wife and I ate here yesterday. It's a clean and almost shiny locale and the server was friendly and helpful. We had a visit from the manage (might be the owner, I'm not sure), who checked on our experience and was sincerely interested in our reply. I like spicy food and ordered Lamb Vindaloo... read more

So good, eat all of it. Was going to take a pic of the food, but I ate it. Service and food is top notch, servers know their menu and make great suggestions. Perfect for date night.

I have been searching for a good Indian place for a while and thought there wasn't one in Tucson. Previously I resorted to a drive up to Tempe, which has a few amazing Indian places, but after eating at Saffron Indian Bistro I no know I can get high quality Indian food while staying right here in Tucson. My husband... More

We were in the mood for Indian food, and so checked with TripAdvisor -- Saffron Indian Bistro came highly recommended. I will add my Excellent rating to the list. First, we had a great server -- Sam, a personable young man with great table side manner. We asked for recommendations, and he made several with good variety. We chose from... More

On my recent visit to my hometownn of Tucson, I discovered Saffron Indian Bistro on Northern Oracle. I was skeptical, because I usually just go with the standby: Indian Oven on Campbell ave, but boy was I surprised. Saffron, is modern and delicious. The service is impeccable, and the food is creative and traditional at the same time. They have... More

A great place for lunch or dinner. One would be hard put to find a negative about Saffron even if you were looking for one! Their lunch buffet is excellent value and it would be a great way to start. Once you've checked out the buffet, you know what to order at dinner time Ala Carte and enjoy a wonderful... More

We usually are not on this side of town. Happened to be over there at dinner time and was craving Indian food. The restaurant is nice and bright. Wait staff was very pleasant. Everyone there was making sure we had what we needed not just our waiter. We started off with a few appetizers. The vegetable samosas were good but... More

We've been here often enough, and would go more if we lived in town. It is certainly one of the best Indian restaurants we've been to, and we've been to more than a few. The friendly servers know their food, and aren't put out to really explain a preparation. The pakoras don't land in your belly like heavily/overly fried lead.... More

We decided to try Saffron Bistro, as I wanted Indian food and Saffron Bistro has the best rating of the Indian Restaurants in Tucson. The whole experience was great, starting with a very heartfelt welcome by the receptionist to the extremely helpful Tony. He made the whole meal fun. The tablet menu was fun. Letting us see what we were... More
