Great place

Good food and convenient easy to find on main rd. They sometimes have live music like the Ukulele Band which was entertaining.

Full menu and bar, they really know how to prepare seafood. My favorite is the pan-seared haddock dinner ($10). Perfectly cooked. Great with lobster and local scallops, too. And on occasion wild and crazy live music from the University of Maine at Machias Ukulele Orchestra!!

Late in the season left few options for lunch in the Lubec area. Kippy's was about to close for the season. Food and service may have been representative of that. Typical diner food.

Lubec, Maine is a tiny town famous for it's Candy striped lighthouse, and the fact its the easternmost point in the USA. There aren't a lot of places to eat, but Uncle Kippys is one of the best. Their seafood is wonderful. It's the place all the locals eat. The pies are fabulous. Highly recommended.

This is an older establishment. Few people were here the night we were here. I ordered a lobster dinner and my mother ordered the chicken tenders. Her chicken was over cooked as was my potato. The food was hot. Desserts looked good, mostly pies, but we didn't have room. Service was slow but friendly.

Great place for reasonably priced coastal seafood. Not fancy but all the food was delicious and the servers very friendly.

This family style restaurant has been in business for over 30 years and little has changed over time. It is a typical seafood family restaurant. We had a crab cake burger and a fish burger with fries. It was of average quality and price.

Lubec is a small town with a limited number of restaurants. The locals recommended Uncle Kippy's. The exterior is a little run down but the food was delicious. The interior of the restaurant was clean and the workers were friendly. Several locals were there for lunch. We had no room for dessert. There is a "For Sale" sign out front.

Was so glad to find this restaurant...there aren't a lot of places to eat in Lubec especially late September! But what a great meal! I had salmon, baked potato, and cole slaw. That was the largest piece of salmon I've ever had and it was delicious! We were planning to have pie that was staring at us but after eating... More

On a rainy fall day, there is nothing like finding a warm spot with friendly service and good basic food. The place is not that much to look at, but the quality of the food and the kindness of the service makes up for a lot. My lobster roll was out of this world delicious with lots of fresh lobster...
