Awful. Worst ever. Clam chowder terrible. Gush and chips soggy. Oil used for French fries not hot enough. Service. Hit take out but the cashier was so rude to the waitresses and then I'm standing waiting and she just walks away.

This restaurant was recommended by the Border Patrol agent when we crossed back into the USA. His tip was right on. The food was very good and the owner was most agreeable.

Have been here before and food was good. Ordered steamed mussels! Over cooked and dried. Ordered a seafood linguina and the seafood was deep fried over linguina with cream sauce. Sorry, Returned. Won't be back.

This place is not fancy, but good food doesn't need fancy. The restaurant has been here for years apparently, and the food we had, chowder, was very tasty. I recommend it.

How much fun we had at Uncle Kippy's. We wandered in on New Year's Eve for some seafood and a beer. We left 4.5 hours later with life long memories. The food was good, we only wished we had been there earlier because they had run out of some of the specials. We knew it would be good when we... More

We had lunch at Uncle Kippy's twice. both times we tried one of the homemade soups of the day. The Spicy Veggie and Italian Sausage soup was our favorite, the Ham and Pea soup was good as well. Definately try the hand cut and hand battered fried onion rings. This is typical looking, not pricey family restaurant. If you and... More

Spent two days in Lubec for the New Year's holiday. The sign in front of the restaurant advertised open New Years Day 12-6. We stopped in at 5:30 for a quick bite to eat. The hostess looked at us and said, "Sorry, we are closed." So, I guess if you want to eat here don't go a half hour before... More

Visited Uncle Kippy's on a cold, blustery day in late November. Had just come from the Quoddy lighthouse. If you want good, hot food in a clean and friendly setting in an outlying, friendly, community at the far reaches of the US head to Uncle Kippy's. The NE corner of the US is very different to its far more developed... More

We first stopped by Uncle Kippy's for lunch in June 2012 during our annual trip Downeast. The food was decent though a bit overpriced. The menu included soup, salad, burgers, pasta and a number of specials. Service was ok - nothing special, but a welcome change from the camp food we had been eating all week. We decided to try...
