I ordered a whole lobster for the first time! They provided directions and were helpful (and cheerful) as I fought through enjoying my fresh lobster. What a treat! Great service too!

Uncle Kippy's has been the staple eatery of Lubec, ME for over 20 years. Though originally located on Water Street, they moved to route 189 many years ago and have a more expanded indoor space as well as a take out window complete with soft serve. I recently ate at Uncle Kippy's one night with family while up in Lubec... More

Kippy's offers American fare as well as lobster and seafood. It offers a casual and relaxed eating environment for those who do not want to drive to Machias for a meal.

We stopped in for lunch and ordered two Lobster rolls, after a couple of locals recommended it. The Lobster rolls were served in something, at best would hold a tiny hot dog, accompanied by a small slice of pickle and about ten chips. This for around fifteen dollars. There was only one other couple having lunch at the time and... More

We have had lobster rolls in many places- these are easily the worst. On half a hotdog bun... Also the clam chowder was mostly potatoes. Stay away

Family of four, spacious clean seafood restaurant in sleepy quiet Lubec, friendly express service, only few at the time, freshly cooked delicious dishes, generous portions, good value for money, something for everyone, veggies and the rest.

The decor at Uncle Kippy's has obviously not been updated since the place opened more than 30 years ago. You enter and seat yourself at old diner tables covered in oilcloth. The curtains on the windows are hung at different heights and don't completely cover the windows. When I looked up I saw large water stains everywhere. One corner has... More

Awful. Worst ever. Clam chowder terrible. Gush and chips soggy. Oil used for French fries not hot enough. Service. Hit take out but the cashier was so rude to the waitresses and then I'm standing waiting and she just walks away.
