Dinner was delightful...mainly because of the view from the outside deck and company. The have an extensive list of appetizers, entrees and beverages. I enjoyed the veal scalipini-it had a delightful flavor. It would have been nice to have had some bread with my meal however. The server was a bit surly.

One of the top two restaurants in Lubec. Excellent food. We went to dinner twice. On the first night our service was terrible but we noted that the other servers appeared pleasant and attentive, so we returned. Our second night service was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Fresh Seafood, Great Fish Chowder, The Tuna Melt on Garlic Bread was really good (best my friend has ever had!). They all work real hard to make this place hum. Extensive menu, good prices and great wait staff. Nice outside deck, wonderful view of the water and Light House. We saw a Bald Eagle fly by as we were parking... More

When I visit Lubec I always go to Franks. Have tried a couple other restaurants in town, but come back to Franks for the great food, prompt and friendly service, and pleasant atmosphere. Love the Seafood Stew, the chowders, specials and desserts are great too.

First the waiter was on time & courteous. Never seemed to interrupt the meal. Then the food came out.............fantastic. Look forward to going again next week!

We went to Lubec to see West Quoddy Lighthouse. We were sent into town by the lightkeeper who told us to look there for seals. Once there, we decided to grab something to eat. I wasn't expecting much from this small looking place but we took a chance. I'm so glad we did. It was so clean! Lots of variety... More

We had lunch here and had great seafood and clam chowder, thick and chock full of fish and clams. Service was quick and very friendly. Kids enjoyed burgers and pulled pork sandwich. Italian menu looked tempting for a return for dinner. Great view of the narrows and the bridge to Campobello.

We arrived at our B&B at about 6p on a Sunday and at the advice of locals who've lived in Lubec for about 4 years dashed off to Frank's. They close at 7p (at least on Sunday night) and in fact the town gets REALLY quiet about that time. My wife had the baked haddock and I had a special... More

What a good find in Lubec ! Excellent food and very pretty setting, the deck is overlooking the famous bridge leading to Campobello Island in Canada. Friendly service and pleasant atmosphere.
