Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

Fantastic food

Loved the food at Gracie's. We went for the fix price menu. I had the gnocchi which was amazing and my friend had the beetroot salad. As a main he had the duck. It wasn't as heavy as duck can be but very light and sweet. I had the pasta with spicy sausage which was great. For dessert the creme... read more

My dinner at Gracie's was not ideal and turned out to be the most unique and dissatisfying "fine" dining experience I've had to date. Essentially, there was a live insect at the bottom of my salad plate. I alerted a nearby server who then made the dining room manager aware. The manager came over and extremely nonchalantly (as exhibited by... More

Wow! What a fantastic evening. An Anniversary card waiting for us at the table, star confetti at our table to make us feel special, amuse bouche and a complimentary sparkling toast, and an unbelievably attentive staff. All this before we even ordered. Chose the 5 course tasting menu with wine pairings, inventive, seasonal, and delicious. We were even given a... More

I joined a group of friends back in January for their Restaurant Week menu, so we enjoyed a fabulous Prix Fixe menu that was to die for! Since there were eight of us, we reserved the Wine Room downstairs and we certainly felt like we experienced the royal treatment. Kendal was our Private Events Coordinator and she made sure every... Gracie's came highly rated across Trip advisor and other sites so I wasn't sure if it would live up to all those high ratings. It actually surpassed my expectations because in addition to the delicious three-course meal priced really well the staff was absolutely wonderful with 0 attitude. And, their wine by the glass was excellent with a generous pour.... More

I was a tag along with a large group of people in town for a convention. All with very different tastes restaurant habits. The Staff was patient, helpful and gracious. And the food was very good. Those who had the duck loved it and my pasta dish was amazing. I would definitely go back!

$45 prix fixe is excellent value. Everything was delicious:gnocci, beet salad, duck breast, swordfish, creme brulee, orange upside down cake. Swordfish was particularly notable: not usually the most exciting entree, but here it was delicious. Restaurant almost full but no unpleasant din. Service was very pleasant and attentive. When coffee wasn't served promptly, the cost was taken off the bill.... More

every go to a place and think you invisible, that's how it felt once we sat down. We waited at least 1/2 hr. for our drinks and it didn't seem that crowded. The duck breast was excellent, my husband beef was not medium as he asked for and very grizzly. Would not return again.
