Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

Living in Providence we are used to a pretty high standing of restaurants. Gracie's is consistently in my top 3 and probably the one that I would pick if I don't want to take a chance to have a less than perfect dinner. Starting off with a cocktail - their bar is well sorted, the wine list is impressive and... More

The food was amazing we managed to make the last night of Restaurant Week and boy were we happy we did. I called to make a reservation and it was booked :( the Young lady on the phone said give me your number I'll call you if anything comes up. 20 minutes later she managed to get us a reservation.... I really enjoy the 5 course tasting menu paired with wine at Gracie's. Nice atmostphere, good service, and nice selection of wines (poorly introduced, I have to admit).

Gracie’s, located in the heart of downtown Providence on Washington Street (situated next to another venerable eatery, Birch), and almost universally recognized as the city’s go-to special occasion restaurant, indeed makes good on its sterling reputation. From the very moment you enter this fine dining establishment, to the moment you depart, Gracie’s kitchen and staff go above and beyond to... More

From start to end our visit to Gracie's was fantastic! My husband and I were celebrating our 5th wedding anniversary and they welcomed us with a glass of cava and had set up a table with candles, sparkles and a card. We had a lovely waiter, he was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave us some great advice on where to... More

We came on Sunday for my husband’s birthday and Mother‘s day celebration. It was three of us. On our table we had Happy Birthday card and little silver starts on the tablecloth for the birthday celebration. Sparkling Cava was offered as compliment as well. It was very nice celebratory touch. Thank you for making it special. We had 3–course Prix... More

I'm not going to go into great detail because I simply do not have the vocabulary to describe how amazing our night at Gracie's was. We had 6:30 reservations prior to seeing a show at the Providence Performing Arts Center. We each ordered from the Prix Fixe menu and thoroughly enjoyed every course. As a vegetarian, I was so impressed... More
