Description: Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

We arrived and were promptly seated 1 hour and 45 minutes before curtain time at Trinity Rep. which is literally across the street. The restaurant was pretty empty. It was 5:45 pm. The night before I called and confirmed the reservation with the host and asked if the timing would be a problem. He said no, that was plenty of... More

We came to Gracie’s during Providence restaurant week in January. 3-course dinner cost $34.95. They also could provide wine pairing for $25 p/p. We decided to go with bottle of wine. The meal started with amuse bouche with duck liver – compliment from the chef. It was delicious. Bread served with butter was delicious too with 4 different choices. For... More

Food is spot on, team service means exceptional timing, restaurant week prices is an outstanding way to try this superb restaurant and consider your next special event. Has come a long way from its roots on the Hill to a top go to restaurant in a vibrant city scene.

I'm a bit of a foodie and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I had the 3 course fixed price menu with the gnocchi, duck, and chocolate pot de creme. Everything was superb, as was the presentation and the service. There isn't much more to say that hasn't already been mentioned in previous reviews, so I will just say it was... More

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. We stopped in early in the day and had cocktails and cheese plate at the bar. The bartender was very helpful with my questions regarding their specialty cocktails - I normally drink wine with dinner but wanted to try something special. The first cocktail was so delicious that I tried... More

It's so hard to find a place that has good vegetarian food and non-vegetarian food. Gracie's has both! Another plus: the fixed price menus really help keep down the expense of the meal. I loved ever bite of everything I ate, and I'm very picky about my food. Great place! I will definitely return!

Had dinner to celebrate a friends 65th birthday and his retirement. Service was impeccable as was the food. Prices are expensive but they are worth it. I would recommend this place for any adult special occasion. Be aware that they do not have a children's menu but will try to accommodate.

Outstanding food, expensive, very professional service, very convenient for Trinity Theater. Happy to go again, especially for a special dinner.

A wonderful experience - I'm from a foodie city and Gracies compares with the best of my home town. There were a couple of glitches but the staff recovered well. Service was somewhat unobtrusive and the food delicious.

We visited Gracie's last night for the first time. The food was very creative, well prepared and presented beautifully. I had the Hen's Egg appetizer which was incredibly delicious and very unique. My wife had the sherry roasted beet salad which was superb. I had the duck entree which was the best duck I have ever had. It was served... More
