Description: Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

My husband and I went for our anniversary for the first time and had an amazing experience. The place is very cozy and I loved their understated decor. My husband ordered the fillet mignon which was very tender and flavorful and I had the gnocchi as an appetizer and the duck entree which was delicious. Our waitress was very knowledgeable... More

The atmosphere, food, service, overall experience, I challenge you to find a better restaurant in Rhode Island than Gracie's. Farm to table food so creative and beautiful, you'll find it hard to believe you're still eating in America. The staff is so delightful and knowledgeable, you'll feel this mix of being right at home and in a Michelin star restaurant.... More

We arrived early for our reservation and sat at the bar where Christy was behind the stick. His knowledge of the food and beverages served was unbelievable. We decided to sit and dine at the bar and it was a great decision. The bar tries to serve local and New England sourced beverages and Christy was able to explain all... More

What an amazing experience from start to finish. The service was good, and the food was delicious. What a nice touch to have little treats come out from the chef several times throughout the meal. I traveled with a few co-workers and everyone loved the meal. The extra special touch was the bags of chocolate chip cookies the valet left... More

Gracies is an absolute treat to eat at. I found the restaurant on UrbanSpoon and it had really good reviews and the menu looked great... it totally lived up to expectations. I got the 3 course meal which was a steal for $40. The salad with the roasted beets was fresh and tasty, the duck was perfectly cooked and flavorful,... More

Had a fantastic meal here in Gracie's, one of the top restaurants in a town well known as a haven for foodies. The wine list was great, the cocktails very tasty, and the service hit the balance right between formal and friendly. A great menu, the food was all as delicious as it sounded and there were lots of nice... More

Had dinner at Gracie's during a recent city break in Providence. It was an unexpected treat. An original and delicious menu served by friendly, non-intrusive staff in low key and unpretentious surroundings. The whole dining experience was a real pleasure and I would gladly go back, if only to try all the dishes I wasn't able to first time round.... More

Fabulous food. The duck breast was the best we've ever had. Beet salad appetizer was superb. Vegetarian entree excellent, too -- lots of variety. Desserts were very good. Breads were outstanding, especially the beer bread. Service was outstanding and knowledgeable, efficient but not pushy. Wine list was most interesting -- try the Gracie private bottling of Cabernet Franc from Connecticut,... More
