Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

After a slow start (we reserved and still had to wait for 30 mins), everything went smoothly. The food was really very nice and tasty. Fresh and great ingredients, decent service, good lighting, can't remember the noise/music... I got the non-alcoholic pairings with each course and it was truly excellent. A nice touch. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and I... More

With all the wonderful restaurants in Providence we forget about Gracie's and need to keep them in the forefront. I had the rigatoni which was fabulous along with my salad that I had to ask our waiter for the recipe. My husband had the scallops which he loved he only issue was he portion size, it really needed to be... More

Gracies is a three minute walk from The Dean hotel where we are staying. It was dimly lit, very cozy. Friendly staff, very good food. I had the octopus and the winter vegetable plate, which I loved. Great Bourbon selection which is Always appreciated. Thank you Gracies!

We love Gracie’s, we are visiting it at least 4 times a year: for special occasions and during winter and summer Providence restaurant weeks. Food and presentation are always great, no cutting corners, regardless restaurant week or not. Again with food we were never disappointed yet, but service is another story: hit or miss. This time it was miss. We... More

We were heading to the matisyahu concert at the Vet, and decided to get a nice dinner beforehand. This restaurant was a good choice. I had the Duck Breast, and my date had the Scallops -- which were both good choices. Everything was very well done, and very tasty, and the ambience was nice, even though all we had was... More

Gracie's has one of the most attentive service staffs anywhere. Food is always great. Even if you eat at the bar you still get top notch service:

WOW - that about sums it up. The atmosphere, service and food were delightful. I was very impressed by the portions too. Typically in a restaurant of this caliber the portions are small, but not here. I can not wait to go back and try the tasting menu. My dining mate said this was the best duck entree she has... More

Things started off fine at Gracie's with the service and ambiance, but went downhill fast when I decided to go with the chef inspired 5 course dinner. I liked the element of surprise with the chef's choices, but unfortunately I was disappointed. The portions are TINY and insanely overpriced. I kept filling up on bread so I wouldn't leave hungry,... Gracie's really is as good as it gets, I read the Yelp reviews and thought it was going to be good but couldn't believe it blew our expectations away! Food quality taste and presentation, service, ambiance... everything was just incredible. We did make a reservation ahead of time because it was a Friday night... we ended up with this amazing...
