Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

There is a reason why AAA named Gracie's one of America's top 500 restaurants and we found out recently. We hosted an anniversary party that included 8 people. My initial correspondence was with Kendall, the event coordinator and from there I knew we were in good hands. Everything was just unbelievably fantastic. We were downstairs in the wine room, the... OMG - MY NEW FAVORITE RESTAURANT! This ambiance in here is delightful! The service here is spectacular! I felt like I was at the Ritz Carlton of restaurants! There were constant surprises from the chef! Everyone here is friendly and knowledgeable. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday and he didn't really say much to the restaurant about it.... More

I hosted a surprise 30th birthday party for my lovely daughter and 7 of her fabulous brilliant and beautiful friends for dinner on Feb 5. Start with our welome. The reserved table was set with glitter, candles. Our wait staff, Max and Keiahna were so attentive and professional. The cocktails were very inventive and delicious. We all chose the prix... More

A friend and I ate here on Saturday night (first time either of us had been here). Waited only briefly for our 8 pm reservation: they were bustling! We were given a small table near the bar area; we said we would prefer the main dining area. No problem; immediately, we were shown to a nice table with more room.... More

We arrived and were promptly seated 1 hour and 45 minutes before curtain time at Trinity Rep. which is literally across the street. The restaurant was pretty empty. It was 5:45 pm. The night before I called and confirmed the reservation with the host and asked if the timing would be a problem. He said no, that was plenty of... More

We came to Gracie’s during Providence restaurant week in January. 3-course dinner cost $34.95. They also could provide wine pairing for $25 p/p. We decided to go with bottle of wine. The meal started with amuse bouche with duck liver – compliment from the chef. It was delicious. Bread served with butter was delicious too with 4 different choices. For... More

Food is spot on, team service means exceptional timing, restaurant week prices is an outstanding way to try this superb restaurant and consider your next special event. Has come a long way from its roots on the Hill to a top go to restaurant in a vibrant city scene.

I'm a bit of a foodie and this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I had the 3 course fixed price menu with the gnocchi, duck, and chocolate pot de creme. Everything was superb, as was the presentation and the service. There isn't much more to say that hasn't already been mentioned in previous reviews, so I will just say it was... More

This was one of the best meals I've ever had. We stopped in early in the day and had cocktails and cheese plate at the bar. The bartender was very helpful with my questions regarding their specialty cocktails - I normally drink wine with dinner but wanted to try something special. The first cocktail was so delicious that I tried... More
