Description: Established in 1998, Gracie’s was founded with a vision to offer fine food and personal attention to all. Started on Providence’s Federal Hill, Gracie’s quickly outgrew its 30-seat location and moved to the Downcity Theater District in 2005. The new space offers a cozy wine room, a stunning private dining room and greater seating capacity. Although Gracie’s has grown in size it remains true to it’s mission -- to create a warm environment, and to surprise, excite and educate the palate.

Great evening at Gracie's celebrating our anniversary. Loved the 5 course tasting with wine pairing. Would definitely go there again. Each course was enjoyable and the presentations were very appealing.

Since they were right around the corner from our downtown hotel, we walked by and happened to look at the menu. So we went back as a walk in and they accommodated us immediately even though they were busy. A nice sized place, but split up so it doesn't feel huge. A good wine list and nice menu, and this... We had a wonderful meal here a year ago and returned to Providence hoping to repeat it. We did have a good meal and will try again next year but I left disappointed. For my entree I didn't see anything "exciting" on the menu and finally picked the rib eye thinking I might get a good one here. Most people... More

If the service had been any slower we would still be there waiting for our appetizer. Even excellent quality food as at this restaurant cannot make up for very lousy service. They combined glacial pace of service with arrogance. Will never return and would not recommend.

My friend and I received a gift for a five course chef tasting with wine pairing.. Our waitress was attentive to us throughout the meal. She started by asking our likes, dislikes, allergies etc..Each course was tailored to us individually. The food was like a taste explosion!!!! Upon leaving, the valet left a little gift in our car; homemade chocolate... More

I took my daughter, grandson and granddaughter to Gracies last night to celebrate my granddaughter, Grace's, 18th birthday. Alan was our wonderful waiter who greeted us with a toast for her and ended by a candle on her amazing creme brûlée. The attention to detail truly makes it a 5 star restaurant. The duck was to die for. I get... More

The food was delicious and creative and it is always fun to have them choose the wine. They were able to accomodate my "fishitarian" wife without a problem. My only complaint was the service. They have a team that is supposed to wait on your table but no one seemed to be in charge. Who takes the drink order? Who... More

We had the best meal at Gracie's. Best meal in a restaurant in a long time. We had the 3 course fixed price meal. Bread was excellent. I gad the Gnocchi appetizer, my husband had the baby green salad with homemade potato chips on top. We both had the Rigatoni Campanaro. Very large portion. The tasting treats between courses was... My husband and I traveled from CT to Providence to celebrate my husband's 40th birthday. I booked reservations at Gracie's a few weeks in advance after reading positive reviews here. When making the reservation online, I noted that it was my husband's birthday. When we arrived that evening, they had a cozy table reserved for us in a quieter part... More

Went to Gracie's on a Saturday with reservations. We were seated right away and greeted by our waiter, we informed him this was our first time here and he really explained the menu to us. We went with the a la carte menu and were very pleased. Drinks were also great got the papa peach, manic Monday and rosa sin... More
