A rarity these days, but not at LaSalle Bakery. Been coming for years. Best cakes and pastries. You can also pick up handmade sandwiches, calzones, finger sandwiches, coffee, etc. Favs: Fruit Tart, lemon & fig squares, small coffee cakes.

Best zeppoles I've had outside of home....CT! I was homesick for Lucibello's in New Haven. Then a nice guy at work said,"Just wait til you taste theirs." WOWW! was he ever right. So light and scrumptious.

I moved from Providence to Boston 3 years ago, however, when I go back, I MUST stop at La Salle each time to pick up some of their goodies. From their breads to their danishes to their calzones ... and the dogs love the dog bones ;)

My roommates and I would purge on chocolate cake from la salle way more than we should have😖 moist and perfect cake that melts in your mouth. I'd kill for the hefty slice with milk right now!

I live in FL and needed a cake for my sister's baby shower that was going to be held in RI that I was hosting. I spoke to Alice Rebola at the bakery. She made things very convenient for me. She had excellent customer service. She answered all my questions and even emailed me pictures of some cakes from thier... More

I'd heard a lot of great things about La Salle Bakery and had even tasted some of their cakes on different occasions. Upon looking for a cake for my daughter-in-law's baby shower, I went on line and their web site states that you can bring in a picture and they will duplicate it for you as close as possible. I... I was introduced to LaSalle Bakery in 1960, been going ever since. I'm sure there has been a bad pastry in 54 years but I can't remember one. My favorite...everything. I LIKE BROWNIES, CREAM PUFFS AND ZEPPOLES! Everything may not be great but nothing is bad!

Without a doubt, La Salle's bread is unbelievable! If you dream about biting into a crisp, breakable crust surrounding a soft, light inner cloud, try their French Italian loaf. Make sure to get the large one; the small loaf is NEVER enough. The Sicilian loaf is also a family favorite... honestly, you can't go wrong with any bread here! The... More
