In my mind this is the best place on the hill. No wonder it is always packed!! From start to finish it was one of the best meals I have had. Wish I lived closer.

We had a wonderful dinner! Service was excellent, as were the food and wine list. I'd go back again!

Nice Italian restaurant, the location is easy to find and easy to park. Dining room is well decorated and welcoming guests. Service is friendly and professional. Finally the food, fried calamaries, and veal scallop with mushrooms was ok. Calamaries were a bit soft, but the veal was excellent. Expresso cafe is not worth an Italian roast, and is very far... We really enjoyed dinner at Siena! Reading some of the TridAdvisor comments had us concerned that it may be too loud for our small family get together, but it was perfect. We were seated in the dining room in the back and the ambience was delightful. (Although the decor was a bit garish.) Our server Michele was outstanding, offering great... More

Party of 4 - one of whom's order was grossly over cooked - and virtually inedible. No apology from the manager - server said manager would address the problem. Service was very slow. Other food was good.

Wonderfully situated on Federal Hill. Ask your hotel concierge for a voucher for a free appetizer (one per table) for this superb restaurant. My hushand had Cioppono (a seafood soup) and I had veal scallopine. It is an Italian restaurant. The Portobello mushroom starter is to die for.

There were 6 of us who ate there over several days and all of us thought it was mediocre at best. The pasta vodka was heavy and overdone. Pizza not good. Hard to understand the positive reviews.

I'm not Italian but.....when my Italian food tastes better than what was considered one of the best on Federal Hill it makes me wonder. We went to Sienna two years ago and it was better then.

It was okay. They don't make their own pasta, which should be a no-brainer for "thd best restaurant in Providence." It's also REALLY loud. They jack up awful club music in the middle of dinner, which might be acceptable to the drunk guys at the bar, but not to the couple trying to enjoy a $200 dinner in the dining... More

The restaurant was very busy but got seated on time. Tried one of the tasting boards as an appetizer, which was very good. I had the veal chop and my date had the veal scaloppini, both were excellent. I would highly recommend an early reservation because when I left at about 8:00 it was extremely busy.
