My husband and I have eaten at Siena on two occasions in the last few months. The first time in May, everything was quite good and the veal dish with mushrooms he ordered was exceptional . We also had an extremely good appetizer, that was on special that night, of shrimp wrapped in prosciutto . We went back last week... More

We have been to all three Siena Restaurants and usually love every visit and can't wait to return! This time though service was less than great and the food was ok. Our waiter, Nick was stretched too thin, had too many tables and could not provide the level of service we are used to at Siena. As we were leaving... More

Happened to go here during restaurant week which I am glad of as it tempted me to try a 3 course meal that would have otherwise just had an entree and called it a night. The Meatball appetizer was fantastic. It is worth the trip alone. The entree I choose was Saltimbocca. It was very tasty. Desert was a Warm... More

Visited this restaurant on a girls night out. We sat outside, and enjoyed the business of the town. I split a salad and entree with a friend and we had plenty to eat. Finished it off with a delicious decaf cappuccino, which came with a little biscotti and crystallized sugar stir stick. YUM!

Siena was a very good place to eat. On Federal Hill, you have tons of choices, but based on reviews, we chose Siena. We had a reservation on a busy Saturday night - we were seated immediately and asked for our drink order. The wine list was pretty good and the wine prices were very good - and generous. We... More

Some of the food was excellent. Loved the very generous dinner salad and the eggplant appetizer. Did not care for my entree, but my husband said his was good. Service was aloof and inattentive. Atmospher was odd, with disco music from the late 70's playing in the background. The bar was extremely noisy. I'd try another place for dinner before going... More

I am a huge fan of Siena but will go to the East Greenwich location the next time. The food is always great but the service at the Providence location is weak and un attentive. The place is just to loud and un enjoyable inside. We decided to sit outside because the weather was nice out...this is where you get... More

We walked to Federal Hill from the RI Convention Center and faced the task of where to eat as there is an abundance of restaurants. For no particular reason, we chose Siena. Wow, what a treat. Good atmosphere, great service and spectacular food. My wife started with Funghi Portabella which she considered amazing. I had figs with prosciutto which I... More

Really good food and the service was excellent the only thing that spoiled it was the noise from the $3 bar next door ....I had the fillet steak which couldn't have been better cooked and my partner the Veal which she love ....the starter was tasty and different ...figs pears and Gorgonzola wrapped in Parma ham...couldn't fault the food at... I have been to Siena in Providence and EG many times. It is our 'regular' place to go when we want a great meal, great service, great drinks and not pay an arm and a leg. Always good, consistency is so important in this industry, from starters to dessert. Whether you want a salad, pasta, meat entrée, dessert, it's all... More
