Worth the effort to get there.

It was a bit of a hike getting there but it was like visiting old friends when we got there. It is a wonderful chic restaurant. We each had a pizza. We should have shared just one. The drinks were great.

First of all Federal Hill is THE restaurant area in R.I. That being said, my recent meal at Siena had some ups and downs when compared to other F.H, restaurants. Staff, excellent, noise level VERY high and troublesome to talk to a person not seated next to you. Food was a mixed bag(10 people). The swordfish(rather small portion) was served... More

Excellent service, quality meal, nice wine selection, perfect experience. Polpette Grande was amazing as well as Gamberi Toscana for apps. Pesce Spada alla Griglia was prepared to perfection as well as the Tagliatelle alla Bolognese. All of this with a fabulous Willamette Valley Vineyards 2014 Whole Cluster Pinot Noir. Delicioso!

now I love Italian food. I love a good bollonaise and the meat sauce of beef mixed with so many other things just brings out a taste I can not put into words. I try this dish just about every place I go that makes it and this is right up at the top. My wife gets fish broiled and... More

We frequently sit at the bar with an extraordinary very well educated bartender - coincidentally named Siena! My quest is to find the " Best Meatball" ever - so far this is tops.. My husband always orders bollonaise and it's terrific - we have had chicken, fish and other varios specials and we've never been disappointed. We highly recommend Siena!

This is one of my favorite restaurants on the hill. Just the appetizers alone will fill you up and is so impressive. When the main course arrived, I know I will always look forward to coming back. Their private room is really nice and they take care of everything for you.

Gets busy around 7-7:30 so if you don't mind sneaking in at 6 :45 your better off. Great bar, staff, and food. Front area is loud... back area is nice and quiet. Pricing not bad for "The Hill." Valet parking as with most Federal Hill haunts. No outside seating. You won't be sorry!!! A+ all the way.

My husband and I were on vacation visiting relatives, and they suggested we four eat here. We had reservations for four for 8:00. It was a summer Saturday night during the Water Fires, and around 8:15 or so, the place was packed (and no room at the small bar). The hostess said it would be a good 30 minute wait,... More
