Overwhelming choices greet you as you enter this delightful establishment. A walk around the cases of food makes you wonder if if you can somehow narrow it down. We decided on a combination plate which the staff said would be no problem at all. They were so busy yet so pleasant. The lamb chops were sensational and we highly recommend.... More

Great prepared foods but even better freshly served! Delicious salads and incredible entrees. Of particular note are the raviolis and pasta dishes. In terms of prepared foods, all are delicious (mozzarella, olives, pizza dough, and pastas. Just fantastic.

Sal is the owner/ chef. I have been coming here for years from Boston. Better than the North End. We ate outside. They have a piazza with a a large water fountain. Felt a little like Rome. We always ask Sal what he is cooking special for today. We had fried squash blossoms and smelts. Then a wonderful pasta and... More

Great food with Sal's flair for authentic Italian flavors. But experience totally ruined by grossly loud music blaring from across Depasquale Plaza. It was a glorious summer day and the plashing of the fountain would have provided just the right background. A request to decrease music volume was ignored.

We were seated for dinner at an outdoor table, just taking in the ambiance and nice breezes, when the music started. It honestly pretty much ruined our meal. It was WAY TOO LOUD. I couldn't hear my husband speaking or even hear myself think. The 2 singers had good voices, but it was old music (and I'm 54!) and the... More

We like to visit Federal Hill on a Sat. evening, go to Venda's, sit outside, and enjoy the food and atmosphere. Menu is somewhat limited, but excellent. Raviolis are my favorite. Pizza is good, not great. Wine is reasonable. Appetizers are wonderful. Entertainment is often 50's and 60's style, and people are welcome to get up and dance. Great for... More

Being of Italian descent and having spent lots of time in Italy, I am knowledgeable and particular about Italian food. You cannot get closer to home made than Costantinos. Everything is fresh. bread is brick oven crispy outside and dense and chewy on the inside. Why bother with homemade sauces and pastas when you can get it here, frozen or... More
