We went to providence for an anniversary dinner and had originally gone to constantinos Venda bar because someone had recommended it to my husband. We ended up leaving (you can read my review on that). Anyway we went to Zooma and the service was extremely prompt the appetizer delicious . We had the eggplant antipasto . For a main course... Was not impressed, wish we chose another restaurant. We had no plans and wound up on the Hill. We strolled around and decided on Zooma. I wish we had gone a few steps away any direction would have been better. My husband got the veal marsala and I got the sausage, broccoli rabe dish. There was hardly any rabe in... More

It is not everyday that you experience the WOW factor when dining especially when you are in Federal Hill competing against the best Italian style in Providence. Zooma goes above and beyond what is typical on the Hill. I do not want to eat the typical...do something different. They did. My first WOW factor was the butter. You want to... More

My friend and I had hoped to go to one of three more highly rated restaurants for lunch in the Federal Hill district of Providence (full of Italian eateries) but none were open for lunch (at least in late May on a Saturday). So we "took pot luck" and went to Trattoria Zooma. We were both pleased by our meal... More

A very reasonably priced lunch special started with warm, homemade bread and a very good olive oil, followed by a choice of salad of soup. My Caprese salad was generous, with a good quality of mozzarella and very fresh basil. I chose the salmon, which was perfectly cooked. The special also included a choice of gelato or a cannoli. My... Went here for a dinner meeting and what a great place! Food was excellent along with the presentation of the food. The wait staff was very friendly and professional. And loved how they framed out the beautiful pictures in the room. Definitely going here again!

General Manager was great but even his attentiveness could not make up for poor service. Food was just OK. Will not plan a return visit

I visited as part of a group of 6. Good service. Lovely salad. Old fashioned lasagne with lots of cheese. Sadly, didn't have room for a canoli. Our group had a great time.

Hi, couple weeks ago we decided to finish our vacation at Zooma having a great dinner. We wait 15 min for table, 25 min to make the order, and then 25 min for out dinner. It was 8-9 pm and we have 3 hungry and tired kids and grandmother. The dishes were pretty good but sizes were very small for... More
