The train may have left the station, but you don't have to miss out on the most extraordinary steak around. Join us in Union Station for dry aged steak that The Providence Journal lauds as having, “only gotten better with time.” We’re just one block away from the RI Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Conveniently, we’re also just the spot Rhode Island Monthly says is “Best Restaurant to Impress.”

Very Nice, very expensive

Food was excellent, service was excellent. Very expensive and over priced. It seems to be a place, if you want to be seen or impress people. Take out the bank book if you go.

Capital Grille was an easy walk from our hotel, and we had previously enjoyed the Washington DC location, so gave them a try. We had to wait quite a long time - on the evening they appeared to be very busy with an event, and we had to wait in the bar for over 45 minutes; that being said though,... More

This was my first visit ti the newly reopen Capital Grill. The overall atmosphere was welcoming and tastefully decorated. The food was very good, each one in our party ordered a variation on the strip steak. Service was good but not outstanding as one would expect. The French onion soap was just warm and sides arrived in what was an... More

They changed their location just across the street into a more fancy place. I would recommend to avoid this place ! I was sat by the waiter and waited 15 min. Every 5 minutes I asked if j could order and the waiter just nosed his head!?! After 15 minutes I left and advised them to treat their potential customers... More

I was disappointed because this came up as a Greek restaurant and when I went there was really nothing Greek at all. It is a traditional steakhouse, the staff are friendly and the food is respectable but very pricey.

We ate here recently and discovered they had just moved into their new setting. It was a beautiful setting overlooking river and park. Our service was excellent. It was a great experience.

The Capital Grille in Providence offers delicious seafood and steaks at reasonable prices and the staff is first-rate. My wife and I were in the city for business and were staying at the Biltmore. The restaurant is an easy walk from the hotel, just across the park. We were greeted warmly and friendly and had Tom as our server. He... More

Top Notch. Dining at the bar with Paul or in the main dining room with Tom Mac or any of the other staff. You can't miss. The management staff is on point EVERYTIME. Lunch, Dinner or a Special occasion. They get it Right. Hefty portions, delicious food . Impeccable customer service. We came in for my wife's birthday. They had... More

We had an excellent evening enjoying Providence Restaurant Week. GREAT service, excellent steak, excellent food. Also, wines were nice, as well as drinks. Will definitely return - very positive experience.

Went to the Capital Grille for Providence's Restaurant week where the goal is for restaurants to showcase their amazing food. The Capital Grille is KNOWN for their cuts of meat, but apparently can't figure out how to cook them. We order 4 steaks, all medium rare and we got one ultra rare, one medium rare, one medium and one well.... More
