Description: The train may have left the station, but you don't have to miss out on the most extraordinary steak around. Join us in Union Station for dry aged steak that The Providence Journal lauds as having, “only gotten better with time.” We’re just one block away from the RI Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Conveniently, we’re also just the spot Rhode Island Monthly says is “Best Restaurant to Impress.”

Location was an easy 5 minute walk from our Omni hotel. Space was very nice and we received a complimentary champagne toast when arrived. We sat outside and our waiter despite everyone else being inside never forgot about us. Also received dessert on the house. Our waiter Tobias was one of the best we ever had

You will never have a bad meal at the Capital Grille. The food, service and atmosphere are always great. It's a great place to go for a special occasion ot to impress someone important. It is not cheap however. Expect to spend $75 to $100 per person depending on what you order. I had the Beef Tenderloin and Lobster Tail... More

Took my husband and two children (17 & 21 years old) to The Capital Grille in Providence tonight to celebrate my husband's birthday, we had reservations for 6 and arrived at 5:30 and were promptly seated. Tobias was our waiter and Andrew was his assistant. Service was top notch, both Toby and Andrew were professional and personable!!! We all had... More

I've been to many CG's, but Providence, RI was one of the best experiences. Bar tenders were awesome, Paul, James and Kerrie were attentive to not only me but every person at the bar and they were treated like the best guests in the restaurant. . Filet was cooked med rare to perfection and sides were perfect. Simple post, but... More

I love this place. Restaurant week rocks for CG. Ordinarily a little on the Pricey side, during restaurant week it is even better. Always professional wait staff guide you through the meal. I had Steak and shrimp, others at our table were also pleased with our meals, rare that we are three for three anywhere. Wines were great as they... More

Exceptional service from Maitre 'd to wait staff. Entrees were outstanding- on a par with Burns Steakhouse in Tampa. The best restaurant experience we've had in at least 15 years.

Excellent service; walking distance to the Courtyard Providence Downtown; great Restaurant Week menu enabled me to try a little bit of everything. Enjoyed it thoroughly.

I had never been to the Capital Grille before and thought a good chance to go would be during restaurant week. I was not disappointed! Our waiter was nice, knowledgable and friendly. Our meals started with a large basket of delicious bread. I always say, you can judge a restaurant by the quality of their bread, and that was true... More

We get to the Cap three or four times a year and never miss the opportunity during Restaurant Weeks when the food and value is off the charts. On this occasion, we had a reservation for lunch and even though there were a number of tables clearly available, they kept us waiting and seated some walk-ins before us. The restaurant... More

I must say the experience at the capital was worth it, the food was good but not excellent. On the other hand the service I must say it was of excellence and very professional, really took good care of me and my guest. I am a little disappointed that my entrée was far from perfect, but the wine I ordered... More
