We attended a business dinner at the Capital Grille in Providence on a Sunday evening. The level of attention and service was perfect, as was the food. The timing of the staff was expert for the business we were conducting. I am not a fan of steak houses, but this experience will make me return for business or leisure.

I had dinner with three coworkers and other than an issue with one of our meals which the restaurant very expeditiously and graciously corrected, The food, the service and the atmosphere could not have been better. While this is one of your more pricey establishments it was worth every penny and I would take clients, family or friends there again... More

Food was incredible. I have never moaned while eating food, so that was a first. I order the filet mignon, while my boyfriend got the surf 'n turf. The atmosphere was more than pleasant and the ambiance was stellar. I give the food, host, and the waterboy a 10/10 - those were perfect. However, the waiter gets a mere 7.5/10.... More

This is one of our favorite "special occasion" restaurants! Amazing dinner, amazing restaurant. My wife and I recently celebrated out 36th Wedding Anniversary here at the Capital Grille in Providence. My wife had the bone-in Filet Mignon and I had the Kona Crusted Delmonico. Each dish was superb! We have been to the establishment many times and we have never... More

I was originally concerned about taking my 17m old to the Capital Grille for dinner, so I made a 5pm reservation in hopes of beating the crowd. I called ahead to let the restaurant know I needed a high chair and it was set at our table when we got there. The waiter came over with some old server menu... More

Service at the Capital Grille is impecable. Attentive, polite, prompt. I ordered a 10 oz filet with spinach and asparagus. I asked for Medium Rare and it came to my table more medium than medium rare. The bread basket is great...at least 5 choices of breads to choose from. I loved the sauteed spinach, the asparagus were ok, not great.

The service is impeccable! We hadn't been in a while, but everything we ate was awesome. We started with cocktails. I love the way they make my raspberry vodka glimlet! Followed by fried calamari. Soooo good! For dinner, we shared a 22 oz Delmonico (rib eye) steak (medium rare), a side of sautéed mushrooms and a side of asparagus. We... More

We had only eaten here 2 times previous - and always in the dining room for a special occasion. This time we did the burger & wine pairing at the bar & both were exceptional. One of my top burgers of all time. We be going again soon
