Actually 2 restaurants in one. One side with bar brasserie type room and the other really classy with very nice table clothes and nice plates. I have tried the bar side, as I was by myself, and the service was really friendly, full of advices and very professional. I have selected a classical porterhouse steak, and the selection appeared to... More

Always wanted to eat at a Capitol Grille and finally got the chance to do so in Providence. Just what a restaurant should be. The spinach salad, the onion soup gratinee, the steak… all were superb!! The service was excellent too. Would go again!!

Thoroughly enjoyed the service, atmosphere and food at the Capital Grille. Not cheap, but worth every penny. On the second visit we all had repeats of our main course choices as we liked them so much the first time and we were not disappointed!

OK, I know that most people believe that family get togethers are supposed to be events i nyourhome with everyone gathered in the kitchen helping to prepare the meal. But let me share my secret with you. Take the family out to The Capital Grille. The location is beautiful, the menu (which you can prepare in advance) is far beyond... More

Had lunch here on Black Friday, this has become a tradition between myself and my daughter. After a few hours of shopping at Providence Place Mall it is nice to get away from the crowds. We have been having our Black Friday Lunch at Capital Grille for the past five years and they never disappoint. One of the specials is... More

We attended a business dinner at the Capital Grille in Providence on a Sunday evening. The level of attention and service was perfect, as was the food. The timing of the staff was expert for the business we were conducting. I am not a fan of steak houses, but this experience will make me return for business or leisure.

I had dinner with three coworkers and other than an issue with one of our meals which the restaurant very expeditiously and graciously corrected, The food, the service and the atmosphere could not have been better. While this is one of your more pricey establishments it was worth every penny and I would take clients, family or friends there again... More

Food was incredible. I have never moaned while eating food, so that was a first. I order the filet mignon, while my boyfriend got the surf 'n turf. The atmosphere was more than pleasant and the ambiance was stellar. I give the food, host, and the waterboy a 10/10 - those were perfect. However, the waiter gets a mere 7.5/10.... More

This is one of our favorite "special occasion" restaurants! Amazing dinner, amazing restaurant. My wife and I recently celebrated out 36th Wedding Anniversary here at the Capital Grille in Providence. My wife had the bone-in Filet Mignon and I had the Kona Crusted Delmonico. Each dish was superb! We have been to the establishment many times and we have never... More
