The train may have left the station, but you don't have to miss out on the most extraordinary steak around. Join us in Union Station for dry aged steak that The Providence Journal lauds as having, “only gotten better with time.” We’re just one block away from the RI Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Conveniently, we’re also just the spot Rhode Island Monthly says is “Best Restaurant to Impress.”

Top Notch. Dining at the bar with Paul or in the main dining room with Tom Mac or any of the other staff. You can't miss. The management staff is on point EVERYTIME. Lunch, Dinner or a Special occasion. They get it Right. Hefty portions, delicious food . Impeccable customer service. We came in for my wife's birthday. They had... More

We had an excellent evening enjoying Providence Restaurant Week. GREAT service, excellent steak, excellent food. Also, wines were nice, as well as drinks. Will definitely return - very positive experience.

Went to the Capital Grille for Providence's Restaurant week where the goal is for restaurants to showcase their amazing food. The Capital Grille is KNOWN for their cuts of meat, but apparently can't figure out how to cook them. We order 4 steaks, all medium rare and we got one ultra rare, one medium rare, one medium and one well.... More

While visiting Providence for sons college orientation stopped in at Capital Grille after taking a romantic stroll along the waterfront. Capital Grille is in a great location but will soon move across the street directly on the waterfront (outdoor tables available). The food was fantastic tonight, waiter Ken supplied outstanding service (especially since it was restaurant week and place was... More

We're regulars...but that doesn't make a difference. This 25 year old grand dame is about to move, but the kitchen still can't get a steak properly cooked - the first time out. Manager Bob all over the place - but not a hello for some regulars? Take your credit card where it might make a true impression. Are you kidding...we're... More

Reservations are a must at the best of times, but it's restaurant week and Water Fire all in one, so you can imagine this place was mobbed. Restaurant week is $34.95 for three courses. I had an 8oz filet (that really was 10 oz) - a $45 item a la carte menu item. To say everything was perfect is an... More

My co-workers and I attended a conference at a hotel next door. We came her for lunch. It was SO good! We had the potato chips (I believe they were complimentary). I ordered the salmon. It was delicious! One of the best meals I have ever had. The service was impeccable. I wish I had more occasions to frequent this... More

This is a lunch destination a couple times a year, but we look forward to Restauant Week in Providence. Capital Grille fills up quickly, quite a mix. However, the lunch is outstanding. Start with salad or chowder, have sirloin, chicken, or my favorite citrus salmon, then flourless chocolate cake or creme brûlée. The service is always the best you will... More

It was restaurant week and it was very busy. We didn't have reservations. We got a table by the bar and it was so much fun. The service was excellent. Tim made sure we had everything we needed and wanted quickly. I had a pineapple martini and my friend had a dirty martini. They were both perfect. I had stuffed... More
