The train may have left the station, but you don't have to miss out on the most extraordinary steak around. Join us in Union Station for dry aged steak that The Providence Journal lauds as having, “only gotten better with time.” We’re just one block away from the RI Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center. Conveniently, we’re also just the spot Rhode Island Monthly says is “Best Restaurant to Impress.”

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner on a friday night during restaurant week. Capital Grille's new location is stunning. We sat at a table in the bar area and it was very cozy. Service was slow at times. Some of our drinks took quite some time to arrive to the table but the food more than made up for the wait.... More

Restaurant week and I had the 8oz filet medium rare...it was the most tender, sumptuous, and juicy steak I have ever had. I am from Texas and it was by far better than anything there. Well done Capital Grille.

I had the chance to dine at this beautiful 1891 stone chapel now a fine restaurant. The interiors are gorgeous - the dinning area perfect for business dinners or date night, the bar is this huge place with art around and wooden panels - just very pretty and warm. Their happy hour cocktails were amazing ! And must try -... More

Fantastic deal! Clam chowder, bacon wedge salad, 2 (8oz) filets, 2 sides, creme brûlée and choc torte for $35 each. Danny was our waiter - extremely knowledgeable - spent a lot of time with you when you asked questions. All the food was delicious and cooked perfectly. Highly recommend whether or not it's restaurant week - just be prepared for... More

We had another great meal at The Capital Grille. We've been to this Providence restaurant several times, but this was our first at the new location. The more modern decor adds some excitement or "life" into what used to feel like "your father's" chop house. The steaks, sides, and cocktails were as superb as usual. Everything was perfectly prepared. My... More

Have dined here several times. This was my first time at the new location. That was the high point of my meal. We stumbled in during restaurant week and that must have been the problem. Me and my guests steaks were ordered med they were delivered med well, and dried out. When we asked for some demi or au jues... More

From the moment we arrived there until the moment we left. Our reservations were for 7:45pm and we were not seated until 8:30pm. Because of the wait, they brought over calamari, which i am allergic to. I had to ask 3 times for a diet soda and my mom had to ask twice for a second glass of wine. The... More

My husband eats here each year when he comes to providence so this year he invited me. Unfortunately waited to make the reservation so we on,y could get the bar. Turned out to be better than the dining room. Sat at a recessed table right by the bar. Had a great time with the bartenders, great vodka martini. We lucked... More
