Made plans to have dinner at Camille's based on all the TA reviews- it did not disappoint! So many choices on the menu plus specials made it difficult to choose an entree, our waiter David walked us through the menu- exceptionally polite and informative. Drinks- food- service- atmosphere- all top notch. Our evening was capped off by David bringing a... More

Can't say enough about Camille's. The service was impeccable, starting with the free Valet parking attendant out front, to the maître' d, to the servers. The grilled salmon was cooked to perfection and served over a bed clams, mussels, calamari and shrimp. One of the best meals I have had in a very long time. I got a dinner reservation... More

The inflated prices at this restaurant just added insult to injury for the so-so food. The waiter brought bottle after bottle of Pellegrino water - charged $12/bottle. He kept coming until we had to firmly tell him to stop.

Although I moved to the west coast, I try to make it to the Hill at least once every time I go back to Providence. Camille's has always been one of my favorites. I am always treated very well; my reservation requests are always attended to and the food is always excellent. The people here know how to run a... More

The valet was friendly and prompt, the service is very good, the table we had was lovely, the drinks were generous, the proportions were bigger that we could finish. Some of the dishes were very well prepared - others were adequate. What the 6 of us did not expect going in was to spend $92.50 per person for the experience!... More

The service, ambience, drinks & appetizers were out of this world! The waiter answered all of our questions & was very accommodating. The lounge area was comfortable & world class. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This restaurant was one of the best restaurants I have been to in a very long time- The food atmosphere and wait staff were all perfect- The wine list was incredible. Architecturally this building is celebrating its 100 year anniversary this year- It was a mansion converted into this gem. It happened to be my birthday and my wife ambushed... More

Camille's is a classic and elegant Italian restaurant on Federal Hill. It is one of Providence's oldest restaurants (100 years) and still going strong. The menu, food quality and service are all excellent. The dining rooms are formal - kept beautiful. The wine list is extensive - but can be expensive. Great for a special evening.

We started with the calimari and polenta with wild mushrooms for our appitizers. Both of these were delicious. The decision on my entree was very difficult as everything on the menu sounded so good. After some time I chose the beef fillet . It was one of the best steaks I have ever had, flavorful and cooked to perfection. For... More
