Julian's restaurant is a Federal Hill institution at this point. You can go for any meal of the day--extending to late night drinks, but brunch is by far their specialty. Get there early or be prepared to wait, but that is okay, enjoy a delicious breakfast beverage while you do. Great for large groups, but you will have to wait... More

Handmade cocktails, funky vibe, amazing exotic hashes and meals. I over indulged and do not regret it one bit. I wish they were closer.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of the place, really laid back with really good beers on draft.. The menu is great for vegetarians who want more than salad for dinner..

I like this place because they offer vegetarian/vegan food as well as goodies for the meat eaters. I have a few vegan friends and relatives and Julian's is a great place to bring visitors for brunch. I usually get something from the specials and a bloody mary. This isn't a quick meal. You need to be willing to take a... More

Food was fine, and the bistro has a nice roomy feel. Service was good. We had two apps and shared an entree. One of the apps was very good and the rest just ordinary. Cool bathroom! Has a hipster feel like the old Leo's in Providence.

Great place for breakfast/brunch. Eclectic decor, neighborhood eatery and bar. The food is excellent and creative. Very fresh and tasty. Worth a visit when you're in town and want a breakfast that's not available in every little shop. Very generous portions! We'll be back!

We were in town for a Lovecraft convention, and decided to stay an extra day just to go to the NecrinomiCon beer dinner at Julian's. I'm so glad we did! The food was creative and fun while still being accessible and non-pretentious, and the beer pairings (plus a cocktail and a whiskey) were outstanding. Very friendly crowd as well. We... More

We once again (fourth try) could not get into Nick's for breakfast - just a few blocks away - as a 1-hour wait was not going to happen. We had read good reviews on Julian's - we concur. Friendly and fast service in spite of a huge crowd. We waited maybe 10 minutes and had a sidewalk table. The inside... More

Food this interesting is often accompanied by a side order of "Aren't you lucky we're letting you be a customer tonight," but this is creativity without the pretension. A deconstructed corned beef and cabbage, battered cod with a tart kohlrabi slaw, and some innovative house-made ice creams (no, pb&j is not the same as jelly and peanut butter) made for... More

All of our dishes were tasty and creatively presented. Extensive selection of main dishes, tea, desserts. High quality service, no wait on a Friday evening, good location in Federal Hill. Highly recommend for sumptuous casual dining.
