Love the historical location! Staff was friendly and welcoming. Julian was there and favored us with a song! So great! Everyday there's a new menu on the giant chalkboard. The weekend brunch was crazy good with their own take on a bloody mary! The food will not disappoint! This is a great neighborhood hangout to try a new beer or... More

Some friends brought me to this wonderful place for brunch on a Sunday in May... boy was there a wait! BUT WORTH IT! We were put on an hour and a half waiting list (we expected some sort of long wait) and hung out outside the place enjoying some of their incredible mimosas. My husband and I along with our... More

I loved the amotsfhere, the menu choices and the fact that they were so accommodating with the changes that I requested. Will be back.

We went to Julian's for weekend brunch. The restaurant is colorful, eclectic open and noisy. They had healthy and vegetarian options as well as delicious, upscale, not-so-healthy options. The onion rings and hash were amazing. The brunch drink list is extensive and wonderfully priced. Getting a carafe of any of the mimosa style drinks is a steal and the drinks... More

My Mother's Day gift was dinner at Julian's. I had never been before and wanted to go where there was good food, fun atmosphere and casual dress. Well I got great food and drinks, fun atmosphere and casual dress. The apps of white bean fritters and fried pickles - perfect start. I had the shrimp po' boy sandwich, my daughter... More

This is always a busy place--popular for breakfast lunch and dinner! Had breakfast here this past weekend--a bit chilly in the shade, but the outdoor seating is always a great option. Great omelet combinations and if you're an Eggs Benedict fan, you'll love their variety of "Benedict" dishes! Service, as always, is outstanding. The EB with stewed tomato--fantastic! I had... More

Julian's has a unique atmosphere. It is not retro but that shows through the funky light fixtures and tables. Paintings on the wall are more funky but fit right in. The food is great, with a VERY eclectic, broad menu. There are 6 tofu omelettes, but also steak and eggs and 5 different eggs Benedicts. French toast looked to die... More

I had scallops benedict, which was the special. Absolutely perfect brunch. Good service. We had to wait about 20 minutes to be seated. It was packed.

We stopped at Julian's for an early afternoon lunch on the Monday of President's Week. It is located the hip Federal Hill section of Providence. Since it was a holiday, the place was jammed. We were initially told the wait would be up to 45 minutes, and we considered going elsewhere - but as the host started calling names off... More
