Now that's Italian!

We visited Andino's for a Valentine's Day lunch just as Winter Storm Neptune was bearing down on Providence. Because we got one of the last reservations, we had to sit at the table in the bar area next to the front window. I was only in town for a couple of days and this restaurant came recommended by a local. The restaurant is small and comfortable. We were there for lunch, and we were seated right away. We started with the Calamari appetizer - the cherry peppers added a nice touch, but all in all, I thought the dish was too greasy... More

This was our 4th trip to Providence and our 4th trip to Andino's. It is always fantastic. The service is always excellent, especially from Brian, whom we ask for. The oysters are always big and good. Try the mozzarella with prosciutto appetizer and the chicken saltimbocca - delicious! The portions are big enough to fill you up and still leave... More

Generous portions, reasonable prices, professional service and great food. A winning conversation. we shared the gnocchi and eggplant roll ups as starters, followed by the Fruits de Mare and the Veal & Peppers. All were well prepared and very good.

We eat here occasionally. The food is traditional Italian and it is usually pretty good. The main dining room has a cozy feel to it. I would recommend this restaurant for a good meal, decent service and a nice atmosphere!

Went to Andino's last night after an interval of a few years. Basically, it was just easier to get in because of the valet parking and the valets who were right outiside to assist. Hadn't been there in several years. Calimari appetizer was good. Bread is good. Veal is strange. I am a veal parm junkie, so I try it... More

We were in search of a great Italian restaurant on the famous Federal Hill in Providence and Andinos came recommended and had good reviews. Katie took our reservation and was extremely pleasant and accommodating fitting us in and greeting us. It is a bustling small place out of an episode of the Sopranos and we had high expectations . Things... More

I live right next to the North End of Boston, have had Italian Food all over Italy and a surprising a good Italian dinner in London but I am telling you - Andino's on Federal Hill in Providence RI is a place to "SHOUT" about - I had the best ever meal there last night - it is small, so... More

Our group of seven received excellent service. The wine list had many good wines at about $25 per bottle. Calamari and muscles appetizers both good. Excellent veal parmigiana. Others enjoyed chicken piccata and pizziola.
