Looking for something different we forsake our normal haunts and were pleasantly surprised to find they have a large patio behind the small restaurant. The waitress went out of her way to serve us and warned the portions were large. They were huge but the taste and presentation just average for the Hill.

The food was absolutely great, both my brother and I had the lunch special which included great choices, I had a caesar salad, brushetta, eggplant parm & pasta what a feed!! Our group of 10 friends had dinner on the patio at Andino's one recent evening and had a very fun time. The surroundings were pleasant and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu. He was very willing to accommodate special requests and joined in with our kidding in a very good natured way. Unfortunately the food was just ok.... More

First time in Providence but was joined by a local native who had suggested Andino's as a terrific Italian Restaurant. For our family of four plus our two guests, the atmosphere was great and the food was excellent. The prices were also right in line for what I had expected for a very good meal. One of our friends had... More

The food is very good. The stuffed mushrooms and clams were tasty. The calamari was probably the best I ever had. The tomato sauce was very good as well. But I wasn't crazy about the bread, as I would have preferred brick oven. The cost was moderate and the ambience typical Italian inside, and it looked similar to my great... More

Friday night 7:30pm reservation - the only available table was the "back patio". A paved area behind the building surrounded by an 8'ft fence and a few potted plants. It was quiet compared to inside dining room which was incredibly noisy. The wait staff was highly efficient. Wine menu was average. We ordered pasta fagioli, rice balls, a special ravioli... More

I flew into Providence and a high school classmate, (we were attending are 50th high school reunion in Hull, Mass) picked me up at the airport and off we went to Andino's. The atmosphere on Federal Hill in Providence is a one of a kind, like the North End in Boston, literally a step back in time. Upon arrival we... More
