Homestyle food. A little expensive. Expect to take out. Does a nice simple brunch on front patio in summer.

The Butcher Shop has a surprisingly versatile selection. Their deli includes meats and cheeses as well as lots of pre cooked type dishes. They also sell freshly ground beef and other raw meats, and seafood. You can get fruit, veggies, and I even saw peanut butter and other pantry items. The Restaurant section serves breakfast all day, burgers, and sandwiches.... More

A local deli with delicious beef sandwiches. I tried their chicken parmesan and eggplant parmesan sandwiches. Both were good, but after I tried their cheesesteak and ruben sandwich, I never ordered anything other than beef sandwiches!

This morning at about noon my wife and I went for lunch. We ordered two sandwiches. Mine came out within about 5 minutes, but my wife's took 20 more minutes and required us to ask twice about its status. It was obvious that they simply forgot about her sandwich, but instead of fessing up to their mistake they blamed it... More

I liked this neighborhood restaurant's clean dining area, friendly service, and lunchtime crowd of Brown U. faculty, local firefighters, and grad students. Everything was served promptly, all ingredients were delicious. The food here is good but falls short of great. Nothing to complain about....just a well run, perfectly presentable local spot that's not worth too far a detour from a... More

Went in for breakfast today. Place was empty. This was our first time in the restaurant/shop-I asked for a menu. First I was ignored, and then I was treated rudely by an older man in his fifties-definately the owner or manager by the way he was bossing around the other staff. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese sandwich with... More
