Made reservations for 7pm on a Friday night, weather turned out better than we thought so we asked to sit outside and without hesitation they sat us in a great seat next to the fence overlooking the Providence River. The gondola went back and forth on the river all evening and when it got dark, they turned on rope lights... More

Cafe Nuovo was a superb place to spend the evening dinning in! Katrina took care of us and we took her recommendations to hear; although we did stray a little. The Scottish Salmon was to die for paired with the duck fat potatoes and asparagus. The fusion of flavors was perfect, Well done! To top it all off the lemon... More

Once again Trip Advisor has steered us on the right direction. An excellent meal from start to finish with superb service. A fine wine list, interesting menu, and every course surpassing the previous one. Katrina was the perfect waitress, knew the menu by heart and steered us wisely at every juncture. If you find yourself in Providence, do yourself self... More

I now know why Providence is considered one of the top restaurant cities in the US. My son and daughter-in-law, who live in East Greenwich, selected it for our visit. My beef short ribs were the tenderest and most flavorful I have ever had, as was my son's seared ahi tuna. My wife's Faroe Islands salmon was wonderful, as were... More

Cafe Nouvo was perfect for a first date. We sat inside at the window, the waiters were attentive and our waitress knew the specials by heart. It was very impressive. I loved the warm olives and oil with bread. I had the Pan Seared Scallops with Risotto that was scrumptious. My friend had the special, Filet on sweet potato purée.... More

We stopped there for a late night dessert. The service was top shelf and the desserts were elaborate and made with the finest ingredients. All were excellent. It was a wonderful end to a great night out. The restaurant is located on the Providence River. The is a gondola with a gondoleer available for hire for a quiet cruise on... More

My wife and I have gone to this restaurant periodically for special occasions over the years. It is always first rate. Our latest visit confirmed this. The restaurant itself is very classy, yet comfortable. Wait and service staff are first rate and attentive to needs. You are never rushed....a great place to have a great meal with friends and relatives.... More

Decided to dine here for our wedding anniversary. Great choice!! We enjoyed the gondola ride before hand, then had a fabulous meal. I enjoyed the Dover sole which was just as it should be, nice and light, fully boned and lovely light sauce. My husband had the Sea-bass and he was thrilled with the texture and seasoning. Service was great,... More

We were coming for the weekend to see WaterFire, and I did some research on this place before-hand. Beau and I were absolutely thrilled with this restaurant. We were offered the option to have window seating with a little bit of a wait, which we gladly took for a view of the water. The spot isn't huge, but can nicely... More
