Mill's Tavern is a quintessential New England Restaurant located in Downtown Providence. Everything is good there. I'd recommend something, but the menu changes seasonally. Some past favorites of mine have been the lamb as an entree and the bread pudding for dessert. (In fact, Mill's was the first good, er, GREAT, bread pudding I ever tasted.) ENJOY! more

This was my first time there, I am very satisfied with the service at the Mills Tavern. But the host didnt bother to asked if we were interested in the 29$ menu. I had saw it online and asked our waitress about it after we had ordered our food. The food is not so tasty, I would say average, but... more

We had dinner here over Labor Day weekend. The food was good - we all enjoyed our entrees. Between the four of us we ordered the salmon, braised shortribs, swordfish and duck. For dessert we sampled the bread pudding and creme brulee. Again - very good. The service, however, was lacking. When our server was at our table he was... more

Every dish described seemed great, but the items served were OK. The short ribs were average, my duck almost raw and the blueberry flavors undetectable. The rack of lamb was the best. The bill for 4 dishes, 2 appetizers and 2 glasses of wine was $200. The service was attentive and the ambiance comfotable. more

We stumbled upon this restaurant quite by accident when coming down the hill from Brown University. Fortunately we stopped in for dinner. The food was made with the freshest ingredients and the ambience was rustic yet sophisticated. Apparently the menu changes often, but from the few entrees I tasted, I doubt that there is anything which is not worth ordering.... more

Was cruising around downtown at 9:30 on a summer evening and couldn't believe how many restaurants were dark - even on N. Main. The lights were still bright at Mills. Chris the Bartender welcomed me as did several patrons. The price fixe dinner with an appetizer (I took the greens), salmon and steak entree (took the salmon), and dessert, was... more

What a great place to go for any special occasion, great meal or just drinks. Seasonal menu changes to reflect the chef's expertise. Jaime's heart is certainly reflected in this place. more

This restaurant has a dark stoic interior, with amazing food to match the effect of the decor. Menus are created to match the seasons with ingredient combinations that are complex and satisfying. It's pricey here, but worth it for a special occassion. more
