Loved this area!!

This restaurant was referred to us by a relative that lives in the area. The food was plentiful and delicious! We all had seafood. The clams casino and the calamari were unbelievable! Crispy and tender and full of flavor. The New England clam chowder was so creamy. You could taste the sherry in it... read more

The food was good, but not great. The clam chowder was very good. I preferred it over the lobster bisque. The crab wontons were too breaded and the lobster Mac and cheese was too creamy. The Caesar salad dressing was too tangy. The service was good and the staff very friendly.

If you are ever in the Providence area between 3:30 - 6pm, get on over to the Providence Oyster Bar for the best eats (and drinks) in town! Everything on the bar menu is $6 - YES EVERYTHING! That includes the lobster roll which is normally $19. Do I have your attention now? Because you want Disco Fries with that.... More

We took my parents and teens here for a Father's day lunch/dinner. We started off by ordering app's for the table. The fried calamari was delicious as was the salad's we ordered. My husband had the steak special with lobster mac and cheese which he raved about. Needless to say he devoured his meal. My son ordered the clam pasta... More

We were excited to try this place, but were disappointed. The "happy hour" oysters were from Virginia - not local. They were alright, though, and we'd probably get some again. Our main course was over $20, was a very small portion, and way too salty. Service was okay.

If you love oysters, this is a great place. Visited from out of the state and it exceeded all of my expectations. Hope to be able to return again some day!

I went here on a Thursday night with someone from out of town who wanted lobster. I didn't have that may choices due to limited time, so I had to pick someplace in Providence. I am from Rhode Island and work in Providence. I grew up eating lobster. If you want lobster, this is not the place. The baked stuffed... More

Oysters, oysters, Oysters, vatrious sorts, from Rhode Island, connecticut, or anywhere else in new england, they are just delicious as a starter or a main dish. We tasted them with a delicious Trimbach Riesling that was a pure magical moment. For the entree, I have chosen the PAella, which was a really good disch eventhough it has only little to do... More
