I used to think that the "common man" could figure out good food from bad but looking at the Trip Advisor rating for the Oyster Bar it is pretty clear now that the same people who love Restaurant 99 love the Oyster Club. I was there for a professional meeting last night and the food was not good. Bacon wrapped... More

The food was very good and there is a lively bistro feel to the restaurant. It could handle all sizes of party -you could be a party of six or could eat alone at the bar and it would all be enjoyable.

there were 6 of us - the food, the drinks, the service - everything was wonderful. tables are a bit crowded on top of eachother but still a charming ambiance. we were not rushed during our time, and that is always much appreciated.

My family and I decided to try the Providence Oyster Bar for dinner the night after moving me into my new apartment. It was our first time in the city of Providence and wanted to experience that only Providence could offer. The restaurant had a variety of seafood and many other delicious dishes to chose from. Our server was very... More

I visit Providence a few times a year and always make a stop here. The seafood is so fresh and delicious and the bartenders are very friendly and attentive. Love the happy hour menu. A trip to Providence wouldn't be complete without eating here!

One of the best! Food was unbelievable. I had the ahi tuna and I've never had better! Can't wait to go back! The bar however was very crowded and uncomfortable. We had to get seated sooner than I would have liked because of it. We wanted to enjoy a drink first but there was no where to sit and it's... More

Great restaurant in the Hill area. Went on a business dinner on a snowy February night and was highly impressed. Nice vibe and atmosphere, exceptional service. Highlight: Oysters Rockefeller. Best I've EVER had, hands down. I have no idea what their secret "wow" ingredient is - but I may have to fly back to Providence just to get these again...... More

We dined at this restaurant on a cold Saturday night in January . We were a little early for our reservation but were seated right away in a table at the rear of the restaurant. We wished we had waited for another table , we were freezing! We asked the waiter if a rear door was open .he answered that... More

Have been to the Providence Oyster Bar several times for lunch and for Dinner both as a couple and with a large group and can I tell you they always hit their marks. Service is second only to the quality of the food. On our last visit your waitress Katelyn (sp?) was great. She knew, in detail, the ingredients of... More

We had a lot of time to kill at TF Green Airport in Providence, so we decided to eat lunch at the Providence Oyster Bar concession. We had the batter fried cod sandwich washed down with a draft Sam Adams. Best meal at this airport ever!
