I first became acquainted with Casserta's during my Freshman year at Brown, when they would deliver their trademark Sicilian pizza piping hot to our card games or study sessions. After graduation, I moved to NY, but my trips back to Providence always involved (still do) a trip to Casserta's, and buying 3-4 extra pizzas for the freezer at home.

We stopped in after our sons graduation from JWU. Nice place, with helpful staff. All of our food was great. Some of the best pizza I've had. After 2 years of school and many trips up there, I was mad he never took us there before. If I'm ever back in the area,no doubt where I'll eat at!

Their Spinach pies are awful, they must use can spinach. They should change the name to, Limpy Stinky!

Casserta's Pizza is authentic Italian pizza. It has the perfect amount of sauce and toppings with tasty crust at a reasonable price.

It's been a long time since I've been to Casserta's. We were in Providence last week. We were trying to think of something a little different than what we usually do. Casserta's popped up on my phone. I was only to happy to go for Pizza. I was not disappointed as good as I remembered. I live in Newport, Vermont... More

They've got plenty of competition in Providence, but Casserta Pizzeria is still one of the best. Not only is the price good, but the pizza is great. The crust is one of my favorites. It's crispy (not soggy, like some pizza places). They have very few topping options, so you go here for a basic pizza. They are very consistent... More

I first ate at Casserta's back when I was in college. A friend from Rhode Island took us there. A total Italian-American experience entering his world. Having returned many times since, the quality, taste and family-friendly vibe has not changed. Recently we ordered 2 Wimpy Skimpys and a large pizza. The pizza is square and cut in strip slices. The... More

Very traditional, old-school rectangular pizza with zesty sauce, thick crust and simple, fresh toppings. We always pick up a pepperoni on our way home from visiting our son at URI. The bonus is that It freezes beautifully - place a frozen piece on a pizza stone in a 375 degree oven and it tastes like it's fresh out of Casserta's... More
