Wife and I had an early dinner there last week. Appetizer of mussels were good, but both main courses disappointed, the veal picatta and chicken saltimbocca weren't up to federal hill standards. Dessert was good, and both of our wine selections were good. Overall, there are lots of other restaurants to try within walking distance.

took my wife to Cassarino's for valentines dinner based on good reviews and we were not disappointed. granted it was a wednesday night in February, but we had fast and convenient valet service, quick seating and excellent service. They have a good gluten free and seafood menu which was great for my wife. Food was superb and the service was... More

Had NY day lunch with family and we were all blown away by the tremendous food. The table shared appetizers of calamari and veal meatballs on toasted italian bread with mushroom sauce that was spectacular. We ordered classic italian for entrees that included shrimp scampi and lobster ravioli with vodka cream sauce. The flavors were so genuine and delicious and... More

Just stopped here for lunch based on the reviews. We were looking for a simple lunch at a reasonable price. It was quiet this Monday afternoon and we got in a picked our own table. We immediately felt welcome due to the friendly greeting by the hostess and bartender. No attitude, no posturing, just a nice feeling and warm atmosphere.... More

For some reason we had to sit in the bar area. When I went to the rest room I saw a ton of seats in the restaurant. The bar area was very noisy and not nearly as nice as the restaurant area. The services were very nice and attentive but the food did take an hour to come out. I... More

On our first visit to see our daughter at Bryant several years ago we dined at Sienna which we enjoyed very much but since then we found Cassarino's and it has become our favorite restaurant in Providence. We started with the combination appetizer which offers brusheeta, clams, mushrooms, perfect calamari, etc. Its a great way to start the meal because there... More

We dined here on probably the busiest weekend in October. (Columbus Day) There was a festival going on and parking was scarce to none! We were seated in a booth on the first floor (Do request the first floor if you have trouble with stairs) The hostess was especially gracious and friendly, while our waiter was pleasant, he didn't bother... We had a wonderful dinner at Cassarino's. We were on the third floor, which was fairly intimate. The service was excellent. I had Cassalinga - basically chicken parm with ricotta, spinach, and mushrooms. It was delicious, and I had two lunches with the leftovers. The breading was not too heavy, and everything tasted fresh. I also had two glasses of... More
