My wife and I recently sampled several restaurants on Federal Hill for an upcoming dinner with friends visiting from out of town. To fairly judge each restaurant we decided to have one of our favorite dishes in all of them—pasta for me and eggplant Parmesan for her. We decided that if an Italian restaurant could not make good pasta or... More

Seafood served hot and fresh. Service from wait staff was attentive and professional and suggested a special that I ordered rather than from the menu. Delicious bread. Zucchinni flower appetizer stuffed with fresh ricotti was light and satisfying. First visit to Cassarino's and happy to say I will return. Chef should be complimented for serving such fresh, well prepared and... More

It took forever for my bread and drinks to arrive , that should be the first thing that arrives to my table. My appetizers arrived before my drinks. Slow service , definitely needs new servers but food was good after a long wait

While the food was tasty the place was rather gross, at least on the 3rd floor it was. Carpeting is disgusting with a nasty odor you could smell when sitting at the dark dingy table & the bathroom was old with sticky sticky floors. Our waiter was horrible and we felt as though he often forgot about us.

My husband and I went here with 6 of my friends for my 30th birthday. I ordered off of the” restaurant week” menu and got the calamari with banana peppers and balsamic for an appetizer, the frutti di mare for dinner and the tiramisu for dessert. The calamari was to die for! It was crispy, tangy and delicious. I could... More

The pastas were good but expensive and kind of overrated. The portions were very large so if possible, share. Service was average

Food was good! Although I wasn't approached by a waiter for at-least 20 mins. It took about 10 minutes for our bread. Service was super slow. Not sure if I'll be back. Friend of mine worked there and he said "don't ever sit downstairs ever! Sit upstairs" maybe I'll try.

Had lunch here and was amazed at the size & quality of the servings, it was like getting a Cadillac meal for the price of a bus pass! A true steal and world class. Not a complaint but would note its not "fast food" as meals are cooked to order, a very relaxed & delicious meal !

Visited Cassarino's in the heart of Federal Hill. Offering a good selection of food and wines at fair prices. The service was great. We really enjoyed our meals and deserts. I deffinetly would go back and refer this restaurant to others. Valet parking is available, parking on the street is sometimes possible within a couple of blocks.

I can not get enough of this restaurant. Food is always well prepared and substantial. For lunch, you can not find a better deal anywhere. Ok McDonalds is cheaper but it has neither the quality of food, atmosphere and service you find at Cassarino's.
