We went to Cassarino's for dinner Friday night with the family. The food was wonderful....extremely large portions and everything was freshly made. If you go you have to get the calamari with balsamic reduction! I have the filet mignon, my kids had the fettuccine carbonara, and my husband had... read more

Cassarino's is my go to place when in Providence. It is authentic Italian food with a great atmosphere and awesome service. Portions are huge price is moderate. Servers really know the menu and offer great advice on pairings. I have eaten there for business as well as with family and friends. I even had my daughters college graduation party there!!... More

4 Stars. A great solid meal! Appetizers (particularly the fried calamari tossed with Balsamic Vinegar) were really good (a great touch). Nice antipasto plate (some hard cheeses, salami, olives). Was there this past Wednesday (Steak night). Nice NY strip prepared one of 10 different ways, with salad and dessert…$19.95. Restaurant week so any entrée, combined with appetizer and dessert was... We were a party of 4 for lunch on a Friday during Restaurant Week. Fabulous choices on the menu. You are not restricted to your entree which is unusual for this week. We all ordered different entrees and were not disappointed. The lunch took 2 hours because it took 45 minutes between the appetizer course and the entree. The wait staff... More

I am a big fan of Italian food, and the menu here makes it so difficult to choose that I just have to know what I'm having before I get there, and not look at the menu or I'll be there all night. I ordered the veal parm, which was cooked perfectly, and was a huge portion of beef over... More

Cassarino's has been a family favorite for years. We chose to return at the request of our oldest son who is serving in the Navy and was home during the holidays with his new bride. The dinner was a celebration of her birthday. She had never been and Cassarino's was one of his favorite restaurants. Our server was obviously inexperienced.... More

Spent NYE lunch with friends at Cassarino's. Fabulous food, very nice staff, lots of menu selections and very leisurely secluded table. Want to go back now! Only improvement could be the speed of their waiters. A little slow on the drinks.

I went for lunch on Wednesday, 12/02, and sat at the bar. I hadn't been for a few years so I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, it was very disappointing. I had reviewed the menu online and had preselected the Brasciola. It turned out it was a dinner only item but they did let me order it. It was... More

Dined at Cassarino's recently, great Italian food with good ambience. Appetizer the calamari with Balsamic Vinegar is a unique spin, the specials were great. Our party of four enjoyed all the dishes. The fish dishes are great, the Scallops and Sole. Enjoyable restaurant with good service.
