Went for lunch with a party of 8. We were promptly seated and ordered a couple bottles of wine. Had Caesar salad to start. The Romano cheese in it made the salad outstanding. My main was veal saltimbocca. The broccoli rabe was cooked perfectly. All our meals were outstanding, but the winner of the day was the Frutti di Mare.... More

I ate here two times last week. The food is good but of inconsistent quality. The chicken saltimbocca was served over spinach one time and the second time no spinach. I asked the server and he said it is different all the time, depending on who the chef is. The Cesar salad was excellent both times. Very good garlic bread.... More

Wanted to try this restaurant and went in early before the crowds. Was not too impressed with the interior was expecting more of an updated decor. Our food was quite tasty both of us ordering pasta dishes. The garlic bread was very tasty but cold. My dish was little necks over pasta. My husband ordered the shrimp scampi. Both meals... More

We took a day trip to the Providence area and wanted to stop for lunch. Not knowing the area, we spotted Cassarino's and decided to give it a try. It was at the end of their time for serving lunch, so it was nice and quiet. Had a wonderful Italian meal in a quiet atmosphere! Would definitely go back if... More

We got off to a bad start. The hostess tried to sit us at the worst table in the place, despite having a reservation late (9pm) as the place was emptying. What was she thinking? We flatly refused to sit there and she quickly relented. Our waiter was excellent, attentive and knowledgeable. Soups were great. My entree (linguine with white... More

This place is literally a nightmare. I don't complain but this was the worst experience. I got the "pink vodka cream sauce" .... it came out in a marinara consistency.. no flavor. I could of made it at home for 5 dollars it tasted like a canned sauce from stop and shop. Mt boyfriend got chicken saltimbocca.. Chicken was over... More

My wife and I recently sampled several restaurants on Federal Hill for an upcoming dinner with friends visiting from out of town. To fairly judge each restaurant we decided to have one of our favorite dishes in all of them—pasta for me and eggplant Parmesan for her. We decided that if an Italian restaurant could not make good pasta or... More

Seafood served hot and fresh. Service from wait staff was attentive and professional and suggested a special that I ordered rather than from the menu. Delicious bread. Zucchinni flower appetizer stuffed with fresh ricotti was light and satisfying. First visit to Cassarino's and happy to say I will return. Chef should be complimented for serving such fresh, well prepared and... More

It took forever for my bread and drinks to arrive , that should be the first thing that arrives to my table. My appetizers arrived before my drinks. Slow service , definitely needs new servers but food was good after a long wait
