Real good food!

The food at this place is authentic, fast and flavorful, coupled with fun and friendly staff, what more could you want? I personally have had the falafel and gyro with all toppings and both were amazing. It's also very good value for your money at 6-7$ and I can never even finish it!

The first time I ate here I remember thinking, "omg, i'm so glad that there is a good Middle Eastern restaurant here in PVD." Years later, and I'm still saying this. I always get the falafel and a side of grape leaves with tziki sauce. Divine. Great for take-out as it is small and not overly ambient.

A Brown alum told us to "eat falafel at East Side pockets (requirement, not a suggestion)" and he was right. My daughters have high standards for middle eastern fare given their Egyptian heritage, and East Side Pocket did not let them down! The falafel was the best any of us had in years (and we've tried many), and my eldest... More

This is a small gyro place right near Brown campus. It's quick, it's cheap, and it's amazing. A lot of times the cheap places near college campuses get great reviews but mainly because the food is cheap. For this place, the food is also excellent. One of my favorite places to go when I lived here and one I always... More

Yes it is just a gyro and falafel shop, but with pride and good taste. He insisted that I try his cucumber sauce in addition to the tsatsini, and he was right. Generations of hungry Brown students can't be wrong

Summary - food was so-so. No reason to eat at the facility (booths) unless you just want someplace to sit. Price for 2 x gyro + side of hummus was expensive for a "take-out" type restaurant. - Gyro made from re-heated lamb slices (not sure why - maybe left from lunch) - Veg seemed pretty fresh - tomatoes limp -... Great middle eastern food here in downtown providence. The chicken kabob and falafel are the best. The baba ghanoush we ordered didn't taste like one though.

This place was packed with people during lunch time. The food was good and plenty, and the staff was very nice. I would recommend this place if you are hungry. The sitting area is very small, but people eat and leave, so wait a little, then you should find a place to sit.

I love to get the falafal appetizer here. They are delicious! If the line is long, they will offer you a sample. Just give me some falafals and hummus and I'm a happy camper!

The grilled chicken wrap was amazing. Portion and prices are great and the service is very friendly. This is clearly a favorite with the Brown University students. Wonderful middle eastern food. Everything seems homemade
