This Syrian/ Lebanese place was very very delicious on Thayer Street right near the Brown campus! I had the falafel pocket and definitely would recommend! The baklava (spelling) as well as grape leaves are a must!

We checked out this place while visiting Brown on the recommendation of students and were really impressed. They move the line FAST and everything is very freshly prepared. Consider sharing; the portions are huge!

My mom and I went here for lunch, and I was moderately impressed. I had a falafel and chicken kabob pocket, and it was just okay. The pita chips, hummus, baba ganoush, and tabouleh were phenomenal. I just finished my leftovers for lunch today, so good. Pita chips were crunchy and the hummus was divine. I'd go back again just... More

Before I write this review, it's important to know two things. First, I LOVE Mediterranean food and have eaten in it several states and countries. Second, I went out of my way to this restaurant based on the TripAdvisor reviews so I had high expectations. I got a falafel wrap and my daughter got a chicken/falafel combo wrap. My falafel... More

East Side pockets is always our first stop during our yearly trip to Providence/Pawtucket. It is absolutely the best place to eat on Thayer Street and anyone seeking an inexpensive, quality meal. The vegetables are always perfect and the lamb in pita was wonderful as always, Hot sauce is great and the tahini is better than any I have had... More

We were in town and checked this place out based on the ratings. I'm glad we made time for it. We ordered a felafel wrap, meat pie, and hummus. The service is walk-up and pay then they either give the food or let you know when it's ready. The food was delicious, really tasty. If you can make time for... More

My sons and I visited Providence last weekend to look at a college and to visit the RISD museum. We ate lunch at ESP based on the trip advisor reviews. And it was a great choice to make! I had a gyro--the meat was tender, the pocket huge, with lots of tasty toppings. My sons both had combo plates with... More
