Visited this spot based on TA reviews and it did not disappoint - excellent falafel pocket - if you're looking for a good Middle Eastern lunch I highly recommend ESP.

We loved it. Everything was fresh and tasty, and reasonably priced for the quality. At lunchtime there could be a line, but it moves pretty quickly and is worth the wait.

This is going to be a short review because this is a simple place that has a simple menu and it does these simple items perfectly. I had Kafta's Kabob and my wife had a grilled chicken wrap. Fresh food, quality ingredients, and these owners have figured out how to tame down some stronger flavors so everyone can enjoy. A... More

Friendly people work there and good sandwiches. Prices are great. Sandwiches can sometimes all taste the same but great hummus and chips.

We waiting in the fast moving line and shared a platter plate that had a little of everything (and not too garlicky): falafel, hummus, tabbouleh, stuffed grape leaves, olives--over a bed of salad. On the side was pita bread, tahini, taziki and some baklava for about $7.50. Two of us shared it and we were thrilled. We wish we lived... More

The best food in town, in my experience, if you're looking for falafel, gyros and so on. IMO you should consider asking for "everything on it" when you order a pocket or you'll surely miss out on something good!! Yum, yum!! Nice, hard-working and friendly people, and the offerings of food are always fresh. Thanks to the owners who provide... More

Have lived in Providence for many years and East Side Pockets has become a Sunday night ritual in our house. There is truly something for everyone.....from the meat-eater to the vegan! Being family owned and operated assures pride and satisfaction with every visit. The falafel is second to none and the chicken is out of this world. Hummus and tahini... More

The company I work for offers a free lunch every Friday. A couple weeks ago they changed it up and ordered East Side Pockets ... everyone was so excited! I haven't had it in so long and I already want to go back soon. Best falafel pocket around. Our company has ordered from multiple places in RI and ESP did... More

Ate hear about once a month in grad school and it was the first place where I enjoyed eating falafel! The falafel pocket and the gyro plate were my favorite. Also, they used to (usually) give you a small dessert if you left a tip!

East Side Pocket on Thayer St. is so good. Their falafel and chicken wraps are delicious. Their stuffed grapeleaves almost rival Aunt Julie's but don't let her know I said so. Take some homemade chips and baba ganoush to go and you will leave with a smile.
