Little slice of heaven

White sangria is delectable. I've eaten here for both brunch (french toast and bacon) and here for dinner (Ecuadorian steak is to die for) and left with a full tummy, slight buzz, and not as broke as other restaurants might leave you for the same quality. Perfect season for outdoor dining.

After walking past this restaurant on Hope Street for over a year, we finally decided to check it out. Good points: The bar area has a great feel with an efficient and professional bar tender. The dining area is acceptably comfortable in between acasual and fine dining feel. The crowd was on the young side and fun. The pulled pork... More

We came here with family after the Providence College commencement and liked it a lot. I had the New Orleans catfish jambalaya, and while it's not for the faint hearted, I loved it! My draft beer from nearby Pawtucket was light yet flavorful, and Will our server was attentive and delightful. There are several excellent restaurants on Hope Street now,... More

My wife and I heard good things about Blaze and finally had a chance to go. We were pleasantly surprised when we got there and did not have to really wait for a table. The restaurant was busy, and it's mall, but we sat down right away. We got a window seat, and enjoyed people watching the Hope Street crowds.... More

They say the company can make any evening a good one and this I find to be true. I had the calamari appetizer which was nicely cooked and seasoned. I went for the pork chop dinner. the pork chop was ok but the vegetables all seemed burned to me. Maybe my pallet is not sophisticated enough for this type of... More

We went to Blaze last night for the first time and had a great time! We sat at the bar and the bartender Tammi was very attentive, friendly, and fun loving. She made us feel so welcome that we decided to enjoy our meal at the bar instead of getting a table. The food and cocktail menu offer great variety.... More

Whenever a friend suggest grabbing a bit, I ALWAYS recommend Blaze! I love that place! The owner, Chris and Phyllis, are so friendly! The waitresses/waiters are always attentive. Overall decent. I went there during restaurant weeks for dinner (3 course for $30). I had Caribbean chicken for an app, mushroom penne vodka for entrée and coconut cake for dessert. The chicken was the best part. The penne in vodka was overly spicy, and not vodka sauce at all, more like a spicy tomato sauce. The coconut cake was... More

We had a lovely time with our group of friends. There's enough variety on the menu so that some could eat heavily and some could eat light. I had a wonderful salad with nuts and blue cheese, followed by the mushroom pizza. The pizza needed a bit less cheese and something to cut the fattiness, but it was tasty. This... More
