Have been coming here for many years, and have enjoyed watching it grow and thrive (although it was easier to get a table when it was a secret). Innovative dishes along side perfectly cooked traditional fare. Pleasant, attentive service. An absolute value - fair pricing, excellent food, warm atmosphere. So missing from the "latest" me-too star chef offerings.

Los Andes is a top quality restaurant in every way. The food was excellent and the service superior. It is in a depressed section of Providence but once you step in you feel like you have been transported away. Both my wife and I raved about our meals. We went there on the Fourth of July and must have timed... More

If you are looking for creative and well prepared food and are anywhere near Providence, Rhode Island, this gem is a must. Most often, you will be seated by Omar or Diego/both are very charming. Chef Cesin has prepared steaks, veal chops, lobster and fish dishes to perfection for over three years and I have never been disappointed. I have... More

Many restaurants are closed on a Monday night, but not Los Andes. We (my two daughters, one boyfriend, and myself) arrived around 9PM (closing time is 10) and, although the house was packed, we were promptly seated. There was a band playing Peruvian music, so we opted to sit towards the back in a booth. None of us had been... More

Waited months for an appointment here because we were told that this is a great restaurant, (wrongly rated #1 in Providence). The experience was not great at all, it was terrible. When we were finally able to get a reservation at the restaurant on a Saturday at 5 we thought we were lucky. Well, not so. We came in sometime... More

We cannot believe that we did not find this restaurant over the past 4 yrs that we would visit our daughter who attended college in Providence. It is simply the best food that I have EVER eaten at a restaurant in all my years!! My husband and daughters felt the same way. The service was absolutely wonderful and the food... More

We went to this restaurant based on its Trip Advisor rating. After a long 7 hour drive into Providence, this was our first stop. The staff, and our waiter, a very funny young man from Guayama, PR, were wonderful. We had the ceviche entree to share (2-4 people could actually share this as an appetizer) and it was superb! The... This has been on my radar for years, but only just tried it out! OMG so good. We dined here on a Weds, and luckily got right in as the place was packed. Everything from the caipirinha's, empanadas, saltenas, Pacumuto and Tres Leches was amazing. Service was fast and friendly. Music capped off the evening! I cannot wait to return!

We had a graduation dinner her for my daughter. It was wonderful. I wish I could go back. The staff was just wonderful, friendly, accommodating(they put out favors that I had on the table, before we all came in) forgiving, (I broke a glass--it was awful). The food was wonderful, everyone in our group (there were 9 of us) really... More

Came here after reading all the great reviews and was slightly disappointed. Staff and service was friendly and timely, but the lobster in the lobster paella was a bit over cooked. The rest of it was very tasty and I will give them another chance of I'm in the area again.
