I tasted some of the food from Los Andes at an event they catered and it was so good I had to try the restaurant. I took some work colleagues (most of who are very picky eaters and tend not to stray from steakhouse fare) and they were extremely satisfied with everything they ate. The waiter right off the bat... We loved everything about this restaurant. Our food was great, our server Adam B. was very knowledgeable and friendly and the host Diego was very nice as well. We had the ceviche in a martini glass and a potato based app that contained avocado. Birth were delicious. I also had the chicharron which was delicious and my girlfriend had the... More

The attention to detail will amaze you. Not only is the food superb, the presentation is exceptional. The staff is attentive and courteous. The office building next door offers free parking in the evenings. It is a bit noisy, so it's a place for an upbeat dinner with friends.

Excellent food and distinctive menu. There clearly is an attention to service on the parts of both the wait staff and the owners. The restaurant was quite busy, even on the tuesday nite we were there. Definitely a winner.

Where to begin?! I visited Los Andes this past Monday for the very first time and can't believe what I've been missing! We had gone with a group of 12 to celebrate a birthday - Pablo was our waiter and to say he was phenomenal would be an understatement. The man knew EVERY detail of EVERY dish on the menu.... More

Wow-Delicious food and fantastic service! I had a fish and vegetable dish which was excellent. The rest of the table seemed very happy as well. The manager? seated us and chatted and came back to our table to check in. Warm, lively atmosphere-would return again when we are next in Providence.

Have been coming here for many years, and have enjoyed watching it grow and thrive (although it was easier to get a table when it was a secret). Innovative dishes along side perfectly cooked traditional fare. Pleasant, attentive service. An absolute value - fair pricing, excellent food, warm atmosphere. So missing from the "latest" me-too star chef offerings.

Los Andes is a top quality restaurant in every way. The food was excellent and the service superior. It is in a depressed section of Providence but once you step in you feel like you have been transported away. Both my wife and I raved about our meals. We went there on the Fourth of July and must have timed... More

If you are looking for creative and well prepared food and are anywhere near Providence, Rhode Island, this gem is a must. Most often, you will be seated by Omar or Diego/both are very charming. Chef Cesin has prepared steaks, veal chops, lobster and fish dishes to perfection for over three years and I have never been disappointed. I have... More

Many restaurants are closed on a Monday night, but not Los Andes. We (my two daughters, one boyfriend, and myself) arrived around 9PM (closing time is 10) and, although the house was packed, we were promptly seated. There was a band playing Peruvian music, so we opted to sit towards the back in a booth. None of us had been... More
