After waiting 3 hours, the food was delicious. Of course, a bowl of cereal would have tasted good at that point. Arrived at 5:30 on a Saturday evening and told it would be a 2 hour wait. Decided to stay( party of 4) . They will not take reservations for parties under 6. However, as it came up on 3... More

Our 2nd visit and our last! Waited 3! Hours for our table. Finally seated at a crowded table in the bar. The tables were so tight that we had a too close encounter with the waiter's rear as he waited on the couple next to us. Food was good. We had scallops, eggplant and pasta with butternut squash. All were... More

We found that almost everything served at the popular riverfront restaurant was great. The margarita pizza, as others have mentioned, stole the show. Only menu item that was a bit disappointing was the dirty steak. But great service and delicious deserts made us quickly forget about the ribeye steak.

We're been eating at Al Forno for years, back to when it was at another location and still a sister-restaurant to Lucky's. Last night we celebrated a wedding anniversary there, and were not disappointed. I've been eating Clams Al Forno forever, and they were as good as ever. My husband had cod cakes with "smashed" avocado for an appetizer and... More

I went to Al Forno with my son and his friends (young urban professionals). We were all very impressed with the private booth, the ambiance, the service, and the delectable menu items. I had the pumpkin sweet potato stuffed ravioli, and it was deliciously sweet and perfect. My son enjoyed the lamb stuffed ravioli, and two others ordered the dirty... More

The menu here is wonderful and there were a number of things I wanted to order. I chose the short rib ravioli. Fresh pasta, wonderful tomato sauce that also tasted so fresh...excellent. I started with the pumpkin soup....terrific! Dessert was the chocolate dessert crepes and those were excellent.j great wine list....we were there when it opened, so no wait. We... More

I have gone to this place for many years. The soups, the pasta, and the pizza, are fantastic. It is a very popular place and finding a table can be a pain. But absolutely one of my favorites.

Took my niece for her 51st birthday to dinner at AlForno. We went early 5:30 pm knowing that parking and no reservation policy might cause long waits. We got into parking lot with only a few cars, dining room inside, up the stairs was small but bright and pretty with River views. We were seated at banquette table out of... More

I have had dinner there three times and really wish it was a lot more than that. Very busy so get there early. I have sat at the bar and had apps and drinks and the experience is just as good. The food is amazing best wood grilled pizza I have had. A must stop in RI

I've never had a worse experience at a restaurant. The waitress told me the wrong price on a dish, and when I challenged the bill, she admitted she mis-spoke, but said the manager, chef and her all had a meeting and agreed that I ate the meal she lied to me about the price on, so I should have to...
