4 Fabulous Entrees

We settled on Broadway Bistro after reading too many great reviews for what seemed like every place in Providence and I'm glad we did. Each one of the entrees we received was fantastic. Usually, one dish will stand out or one dish will miss the mark a little but the Gnocchi, Pappardelle, Pork... read more

My husband and I recently had dinner here while visiting our daughter in Providence. I had previously dined here with my daughter and friends, as it's her "go to" place and wanted my husband to try it. As I expected, he also enjoyed. He said his mussels appetizer, served in a seafood sauce was one of the best he had... More

Broadway Bistro always delivers a delicious dining experience at a reasonable cost. We tend to go for the appetizers and salads, although whenever we've had a main course (yes to crusty chicken), it too has been well executed. Ribs and grits are the standby, although they can sometimes be a bit too salty. The arugula salad, in particular, with hazelnuts... More

We had dinner here with friends. The ribs and grits are a must have. I had the burger special. It was one of the best I ever had. Can't wait until our next visit.

We've always wanted to try this place--on a busy corner on Broadway in the Fed Hill neighborhood. Cozy seating--two rooms, one being the bar area, the other a dining room. Busy but we didn't wait long. I tried the special--Pad Thai with chicken and shrimp--but they ran out of chicken so it only had shrimp---when I asked if they were... More

This restaurant is probably a neighborhood hang out but it is worth the effort to find it ...on Broadway of course. My Crispy Chicken was excellent, as was the Roasted Romaine Salad (an odd concept but go for it). My only problem was that they only take reservations for parties of six or more so counting on a table for... More

We had dinner at the Broadway on a Tuesday evening about 730, we waited a short time at the bar. The bartender was very thoughtful allowing us to taste the wine before deciding on the type of wine. Comfortable sitting, and the lights are down low, we used our iPhone light to read the menu. We all ordered entrees and... More

We had dinner there recently, 6 people. Waitress was polite and nice. Setting is acceptable, chairs moderately comfortable. Lighting ok. Music level was too high for our conversation. Menu is limited, several pork dishes and sauces. Salad was fairly fresh. Main course of stake was mistake. Nit readily chewable, rubbery, and untastey. Veggies were ok. Other entries inclued fettucine which... More

Had a very nice Sunday dinner in November. So, no outside seating. In a real bistro way, the menu is short. We focused on seafood - hake, salmon, swordfish. All well presented and flavourful. The salmon was pretty straight up. As in, a usual treatment. But, I suppose you need a couple of those on the card. Wine selection ample.... More

Stopped by this place for dinner with family. The atmosphere is friendly. No reservation is accepted and you might need a bit of patience. But please do trust the maître d who will get you situated in the right table. We tried the pork belly taco which was quite good. We also had the pea green salad which was really... More
