We've been coming here since Pat first opened back in 2007 (or was it early 2008?). Anyway, the food has always been way above the normal fare, even on the west side, and the service has always been friendly if occasionally erratic. The noise, particularly the music has varied but more often than not leans to the loud side of... More

I had heard great things about this place and was excited to try it. The place is adorable....a great little neighborhood restaurant. We went in late and felt the service was a bit rushed and inattentive but not horrible. The food was good but I literally could not see it. I hate places that have the lights on too brightly... More

As they have a "no reservations for less than a party of 6" policy we tried a few times in the past without success. Finally had a group of 4 hungry college kids to join us. We had a wonderful dinner! A small (seats maybe 40?) and cozy spot. Friendly and attentive staff. Menu changes daily. We had appetizers of... More

My wife and I love this place! Dont let anyone fool you regarding the location being on the made-up West Side neighborhood, as the Bistro is located in Federal Hill. The service is excellent, Patrick is a brilliant chef, everything from the meats to the seafood are done so special and with much love. Proud this place is close to... More

So, the first time we went here, I would have given it a 4.5. We had amazing food that was creatively prepared and tasted amazing. Our dishes included the Hake, a crab cake special and a pork dish. The next two times we went, both Saturday nights, I was underwhelmed and sad due to our last amazing meal. My boyfriend... More

This is a great little place to add to the fabulous food outlets in Providence. The food was wonderful. We were a party of four and they do not take reservations for less than 6 so beware. It is a small but cozy place, Parking is on the street. We came early because we had 7 30 theater tix. Good... More

We went with a large party but had a reservation. Waitperson clearly over worked. Took 15 min after seated to take drink order. I told her to start to get orders at other end of our table and she walked away to serve another table. Bring a flashlight...

Providence has many great restaurants and BB certainly is top tier worthy. Portions are more than generous and the prices are too good to believe. Feel free to spend 3x as much at Al Forno for snobby service (why does Pizza and pasta cost so much?), but come to Broadway for better quality & more interesting choices. The go to... More

Some really great dishes and the rest were all pretty good. The staff is friendly, fun and knowledgeable. Could be a little cleaner.

They recently have undergone an expansion doubling their size. Very pleasant atmosphere well appointed comfortable bar with many people having their meal at the bar. They also had a few tables out on the sidewalk which seemed very comfortable and well placed for watching the activity in this very pleasant neighborhood. The Bistro only takes reservations on weekends for parties... More
