On of the best steaks ever - service to be improved

We were here for a dinner during a business trip. We ate one of the best steaks we ever had! But the service is to be imrpoved. She was impatient to take our order; brought the wrong wine which was at the end in addition to the right one on the bill! Price is high, everything is extra.

The restaurant itself is dark and unwelcoming. The service is definitely sensational, but the dishes are really hit or miss. The prices, however, are EXORBITANT. $145 for a bottle of Veuve Clicquot is almost robbery. Most of the appetizers are around $25 and the steaks around $50. A half-glass of wine is about $12, and a full glass almost $20.... More

This is the third Fleming's Steakhouse I've visited. The only thing to say is that it is TOP NOTCH. You can't find a better steak anywhere else. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The service was great!

Steak was very good - very much expected for a restaurant that specializes in steaks and not afraid to charge for them. Mac & Cheese with lobster (off the menu) but vey good. Service and attentiveness to our table could have been better - the restaurant was not full.

Food and service were fine. Unfortunately, we were sat in a room with a table of Boston Bruins stalkers who ruined the evening for us. I could have had the same atmosphere at Denny's for $30 as opposed to $300 at Flemings. Very disappointed.

We were a party of 2 and had reservations for Saturday night. There was not one thing about our experience that was average. Here is an example: when booking online it asked for any special requests. I put a note that if possible we would like to be in a fairly quiet section and a booth would be ideal. Because... More

We make the trip down to Providence to eat here at least once per year - now our tradition. That double-cut pork chop beckons... perfectly prepared, excellent choice of sides, and always easy to find a reasonably priced bottle of wine to go with it. We are so very pleased with this restaurant. The grilled sea bass was also excellently... More

Was here last weekend for a nightcap and was disappointed. Staff was indifferent; drinks were pricey; and the atmosphere ... well, let's just say it was dim.

Undoubtedly, I am a "Steak Snob". I was very disappointed by the dryness of my steak. This surprisingly tender, over-cooked filet was not at all worthy of the pomp and circumstance generally associated with the Fleming's brand. Where Fleming's did rate good marks was in the service and atmosphere. A lovely restaurant facility with a warm and pleasant wait staff.... More
