Must-visit bakery and coffee spot in Providence. I try to not get baked goods here because they are FABULOUS! I don't want to get FAT! Favorites are: sticky bun, cinnamon bun, almond-chocolate croissant, (ANY croissant), pain au chocolate, molasses cookie, just get ANYTHING they still have to sell! Now for the breads: olive loaf, country loaf, once again, ANYTHING.

This bakery makes excellent bread, also other offerings are very good. I love their durum bread and their almond croissants are excellent. Coffee is good and the ambience inside is great. Depending on when you go be prepared to stand in line but there is plenty of help to keep the line moving. Other sweets available like sticky buns and... More

Outstanding place to eat breakfast. A little limited on breakfast fare (no eggs) but I could eat there something different every day of the week. Took couple of loaves home and theyre gone days later.

Excellent for baked goods. Would especially recommend the scones and the coffee was very good. It is out of the way but worth the walk.

When visiting my daughter last fall (who is lucky enough to live just a few blocks from the Fed Hill store), we went several times and loved all of the baked goods. Friendly staff, good coffee, pastries made with love and attention to detail. Well, my daughter was turning 21 and I tried for weeks to find something fun (cookies,... More

It is always a little to crowded in there for my taste, Lots of GROUPIE Hanger outers, but I WILL make an exception for those Bear Claws and stop by on occasion.Bourgeois East Side bunch are the regulars that tend to hang out there :-)

Seven Stars is an outstanding bakery. It is a great place for a coffee/tea and a scone/cookie/muffin. It is not a dessert destination. No cakes, pies, cream filled pastries, or anything that takes a utensil to eat. Your choices are between scones, muffins, biscuits, biscotti, brownies, etc. All very good and very interesting. This visit we tried pistacio-cranberry biscotti and... More

They serve fresh locally roasted coffee which is good. They have a lovely selection of breads by the loaf and scones and muffins and such. I had the granola nut scone which was very good. It was moist with good flavor unlike other scones I've had. They have a good selection of teas and specialty drinks. Lots of kids are... More

I typically do 'take out' at this bakery as seating is difficult during busy times. The breads are great. My sweet tooth loves the sticky buns and croissants. Expect a line but the wait is definitely worth it.
