Seven Stars is an outstanding bakery. It is a great place for a coffee/tea and a scone/cookie/muffin. It is not a dessert destination. No cakes, pies, cream filled pastries, or anything that takes a utensil to eat. Your choices are between scones, muffins, biscuits, biscotti, brownies, etc. All... read more

No cakes, pies, cream filled pastries, or anything that takes a utensil to eat. Your choices are between scones, muffins, biscuits, biscotti, brownies, etc. All very good and very interesting. They serve fresh locally roasted coffee which is good. They have a lovely selection of breads by the loaf and scones and muffins and such. I had the granola nut scone which was very good. It was moist with good flavor unlike other scones I've had. They have a good selection of teas and specialty drinks. Lots of kids are... More

I typically do 'take out' at this bakery as seating is difficult during busy times. The breads are great. My sweet tooth loves the sticky buns and croissants. Expect a line but the wait is definitely worth it.

One of the finest bakery in providence. I started with having sticky bun,Veggie sandwich & Mocha Late. Everything was really really good and I had a good time in the bakery. The ambience is good but I think it's difficult to find seats. All in all nice crowd, awesome bread's and bakery

Seven Stars is one of my favorite places to get breakfast in Providence. The sticky buns are amazing that you can't just eat one. The place is always packed so it is a little overwhelming which makes it hard to find a seat but during the summertime they have outdoors seating. The pricing is very reasonable as well and all... I love, love, love the olive bread from Seven Stars. Giant black olives, not bits. And they'll cut a couple of thick slices for you and toast them to eat there. This plus a latte is a great snack. BUT. I must I only go at the most popular times but it's always soooooooo crowded on the weekends. As in,... More

Seven Stars bakery is one of my favorite spots in Providence. It's hard to not be happy when surrounded by fresh bread, warm drinks, and friendly service, but there's something special about Seven Stars. It's a little eclectic and hipster, but friendly and fresh. I've never been in there and not had a line, but it moves quickly and somehow... More

There is no doubt that Seven Stars produces a large variety of outstanding breads. Likewise, their coffees and some pastries/desserts are excellent. That said, the same attention to quality is clearly not applied to their sandwiches. I ordered a Turkey Sandwich, and my wife had the peanut butter and jam. Both items were previously prepared and refrigerated, and the bread... More

I stopped it with a friend who lives in Providence on a very busy Saturday morning. We sat at the long community table, which allowed us to join in a number of friendly conversations with regulars. We had coffee and pastries. This is an excellent bakery. The coffee is hearty, which is how I like it. I'd visit every weekend... More

This is my first stop when I visit Providence. We love all the breads here, especially the olive bread and the pumpkin seed bread. I've never been disappointed. The servers are helpful and friendly. If you want to stay for coffee, you can order sliced bread with butter and jam instead of a pastry. The drawbacks are the shortage of... More
