While I would return, I cannot say this is the best Indian food around. We go because they are dog friendly, however, there are other choices up the road which offer better food when we're in the mood for Indian.

What a lovely restaurant with delicious food and wonderfully friendly staff. This is certainly the place to go when i'm craving a little bit of heat along with that rich Indian flavor.

Loved it here so much, can't wait to return! The atmosphere is so wonderful. We were lucky enough to get a table in the open roof garden. It is so beautiful beck there! When we walked through the interior, it was also beautiful. The whole place has a relaxing, yet fun vibe. From the music to the decor, all details... More

I'm sorry but if you want authentic Indian food, go to India. Otherwise be prepared for a place which is catering to the local population. This is what I say to anyone who has a beef with this restaurant. This is one of the best places to eat in Rhode Island. I've been coming here for years and not once... More

This was our first visit for lunch, after many pleasant dinner experiences , and we thought it was great. The selections were varied, interesting and bountiful. Our server was pleasant and professional. The decor, of course, is wonderful. Our daughter in law is Indian, and she loved this place. Enough said regarding authenticity!

Get ready for your tastebuds to go on an adventure. We enjoyed a very enjoyable meal and cocktails. You can choose from three seating arrangements, outdoors out front, indoors, or out back in the garden with SWINGS!! That's right! Swings!! So FUN!! And the atmosphere is great with an open roof and garden area. Just stunning. The night we were... More

I've eaten in Indian restaurants from London, England, to Los Angeles, and the India Restaurant in Providence is the unqualified winner for the WORST -- AND LEAST AUTHENTIC -- Indian food that I've eaten anywhere. I went there twice, and both times only because I had a $10 gift certificate from the place to go there. Well, the ten bucks... More

India has become my favorite Indian restaurant in Providence, a city with several Indian restaurants, The food is always fresh and there are numerous 'interesting' selections. I often feel hurried at Indian restaurants, not sure why but the food seems to come out quickly and before long the meal is over. Somehow I find the environment at India less hurried... More

The quality of food is certainly noticeable. Everything is fresh and amazing. Everyone is very caring. There is a beautiful back patio with tables which include swing seating. Great for a romantic dinner or families. The Silva Family, Seekonk MA
