Our second visit here

My son and husband love their beer selection and ability to choose flights of beer for the best variety. The views are stunning. We have only been to this location in January so not sure how busy they are during high season, but when we've been there, they've not been very busy. We receive great... read more

We decided to try this restaurant on a very snowy evening. It was great. The famous Prime Rib French Dips are delicious and they have a very nice craft brew and cider selection. Server was attentive and friendly.

My wife and I are from Loveland, Colorado and were up in Estes Park for a short getaway. We hadn't visited Mary's Lake Lodge since they changed the restaurant to the Tavern and thought we would give it a try. It was a Friday night but it was the slow season so we didn't make reservations and were surprised when... More

Food was Great! Had the elk chops with wild rice. Stuff was great too. Would encourage anyone to try them. Wife had the salmon. She loved it too. Great wine selection.

Traveled here in January and most places were shut down. We had a great dinner and dessert. Beautiful dining area that looks over the mountains. Thanks for the great service Joanna!

My wife and I ate here during our winter weekend getaway in Estes Park. Aside from our GPS not directing us to the property correctly (the hotel and lodge are off of a private drive from the main road), the experience was top notch. The staff was knowledgeable and attentive, the food couldn't have been any better, and the beer... More

A group of friends had dinner at Tavern 1929 last night. The food was good, the service was excellent but when the music started it so loud that it made conversation impossible. This is a good restaurant and the chef is good however on nights they have the live music it is not the place you want to be if... More

My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary at a B&B in Estes Park and we were told to try the Tavern for dinner... it was an excellent evening experience! The restaurant was even extremely busy with some kind of big wedding party and they still managed to provide excellent service!

Matthew, the friendliest bartender in Colorado, is the guy you need to talk to about drinks. Every suggestion, drink or food, was spot on. I was in a group of 6 people and we all loved our drinks and our meals. Matthew made several infused liquors and all were fantastic! And the extra sage was greatly appreciated...wink!
