My husband and I went for our anniversary. My husband had buffalo steak with a mushroom demi sauce and add on scallops. He really liked the scallops and sweet potatoes, but he said the sauce over powered the steak. I had prime rib and scallops. My scallops had no seasoning at all. Not sure why my husband's were very good.... More

When I called I asked for a table by the window but was told all booked., to my surprise we were seated by the window. The service was excellent. We had a trio for an appetizer which was scallops wrapped in bacon, stuffed mushrooms and elk medallions, all was wonderful!!! I had the French onion soup and my husband the... More

Pricey, Wonderful view of Boulders. Reminded me of Boulders resort in Arizona. Hard to find, outside of town. Two had lamb that was perfect, I had prime rib. Good, but too rich for my stomach. Shared 4 types of dessert. I thought the best was blueberry bread pudding. If you are an epicurean, you will love this place.

Was there over Labor day weekend. Had Bacon wrapped Scallops for appetizer and it was great! I had a Blackened New York Strip for dinner and Dan had the stuffed Pork chops. Both were excellent! Service was great and even got a few pictures of a huge Elk on the property going back to our car. Its tough to find... More

Visited for our wedding anniversary. Food was good, not great. The wait staff was very accomodating but short-staffed. Even the waitress kept apologizing for everything taking so long, but it wasn't her fault. Extra time between visits from our server. One of my drink orders was wrong (wanted a whiskey, got a whiskey and coke). But the atmosphere was wonderful,... More

The restaurant is a spectacular old log home from the '20s nestled in some fantastic looking rock formations. The food matched the scenery for goodness. The elk medallions were savory and tender. Will certainly hit this spot again when in Estes Park. I forgot to mention the service was spot on. Come and you will enjoy twin owls.

the appetizer and salad was good. however, my $30 filet came out overcooked. the dinner was replaced, but my husband was finished with his "lukewarm" meal before mine was replaced. we were given free dessert, but never got an apology from a manager. disappointing night for an expensive meal!

We were late for reservations but they found room for us. Outstanding food and location. Staff was amazing and so helpful. Nice view of the valley and mountains. A unique restaurant. Will go there again when we are back in Estes Park. Lodging is next door but we did not stay there.

We ate here while staying at the Black Canyon Inn. The food was great. It was the fanciest restaurant we have found in Estes Park. A great place for a special event or nicer evening out!

Was here for an engagement party very nice restaurant. I had the buffalo steak in mushroom sauce. Had a unique taste to it. Drinks were very good. I would definitely check it out. It is one of the better places to eat in town.
