Have to admit, we were attracted by the entertainment. The night we went a Jim Croce style guitarist played. He was great. For a Sunday night in September, there was a wait to be seated & it continued for most of our meal. Noticed that some folks have been critical of the menu. While some of the appetizers are atypical,... More

The Rock in is a fun, noisy place but the food is expensive and just average. My wife and I shared a French dip sandwich ($14) and an entree salad ($12), both were good but nothing special. I would suggest this as a place for drinks and appetizers.

Read the reviews and thought we would try this out. Our waitress Casey was great, but bless her heart the cooks did not make her job easy. Menu does not have much to offer unless you like strange things like bacon wrapped dates or something. We did find some burgers and ordered those around the table. The burgers for my... More

Good place to eat. Food was tasty but not spectacular. Typical Bar/grill menu. Service was fast, friendly. One of the better places to eat in Estes Park/

Both of us had fish - trout and salmon. Not a good choice. This place is probably ok for burgers and a beer but not for anything that requires skill from the kitchen staff.

The food here was good, but I have definitely had better. It was very busy and had a nice atmosphere. The food was overpriced as well.

Great deal at happy hour meeting park rangers ending up their work week at the Rock Inn. Stayed for dinner and enjoyed the open mic session, esp the bass player!

we just stopped by to have a drink after a long day. We sat at the bar, had a drink, were talking to the bar tender, listened to the live music (some Fri., Sat. And Sun.) and had a good time. We didn't eat there although the dishes that went past us looked all great, but we already had dinner... More

We chose this restaurant because of the Trip Advisor reviews and because of the live music. Fortunately, we called ahead and when we arrived about 20 minutes later, we were seated immediately. Then we waited and waited. Server arrived about 7-8 minutes later and took our order. I wasn't impressed with the limited menu and settled on the special -... More

Loved both the trout and flat iron steak, The house Cabernet is very good, about $20 for the bottle.
