Good food, but expensive

This restaurant was right across the street from the condo we rented. We went on a night without music to avoid the crowds. The food was good. Everyone liked what they ordered, except for my 5 yo son who did NOT like the mac 'n cheese. They have multiple gluten free and vegetarian options, despite... read more

After a relaxing day at our nearby cabin, we were able to walk to Rock Inn Tavern. We enjoyed the pizza and the chicken flatbread sandwich. There was a live musician playing while we were there which added to ambiance. Great find just outside of town.

Arrive early for the Happy Hour and grab a seat on the Patio. There is plenty of seats inside, but it's stuffy with no air flow. They have small, plate appetizers for a fraction of the regular priced appetizers that you can enjoy while your having your 2-1 beverage. We tried the Brie with honey served with French Baguette slices. It... More

We were going to eat someplace in town and everything was very busy. I found this place on trip advisor and we thought we would give it a try. Was not disappointed. Good food and atmosphere.

Went to the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern on the recommendation of our son who had visited there last fall. He raved about it and we weren't disappointed. The staff was friendly, service quick, there is a wide selection of beers on tap and an extensive cocktail menu. The food was delicious; Cajun shrimp appetizer was flavorful but not too spicy,... We always eat at least one dinner here when taking the family vacation to the YMCA. Good meals, service can be a bit spotty. But, it is a definite spot to go when in Estes.

We always enjoy Rock Inn - the food here is a great mix of chef-inspired and mountain food. What I mean by that is that I enjoy when chef's add their own special touches to gourmet meals, but its also hardy. The ambiance isn't high end, but its a great place to bring the family and enjoy a good meal.... More

We had a group of 9 people and had great service. Good was super delicious (I loved the vegetable bowl and my husband loved the steak). Beer selection was great!! Wish we could have come back for one of the nights with live music. Drive by on a live music night and it was packed!!!!

Tried this based on a recommendation from a local and we weren't disappointed. They had live music but we chose to sit outside because it was a beautiful night. It got a little chilly as the sun went behind the mountains, but I asked for them to turn the overhead heater above us on and they obliged. Casual place so... More
