Good local food

Overall I would say this restaurant is one that aims to please with a very basic menu that is coupled with great local beef, chicken and other types of food to please. The pizza I would say is the best while the burger is probably their worst. If you want something different with a lot of flavor... read more

Whenever possible while traveling, we try to avoid chain restaurants and try to find little restaurant gems near where we'll be, so this was a great choice. The atmosphere is very low key and comfortable for a relaxed night out with family or friends. We arrived around 5:30 pm and were able to run into a few bar specials which... More

If you love a restaurant who makes food from scratch and a lot of unique personal touches this is the place! Devils on horseback (garlic stuffed bacon wrapped dates) and the chic pea stew and the olive tempenade (sp) pasta are wonderful! Rebecca was so upbeat and engaging, Jen was on top of her game and Mary Grace was as... More

Closer to the South entrance to RMNP and a bit hidden off the main roads, so you are unlikely to bump into it, but it is worth the drive there. Have gone several times and always enjoy dinner there. They always have a good beer selection. The Devils on Horseback are very good. The Flat Iron with Gorgonzola was prepared... More

We have eaten here twice now in the past year and both times had great cocktails by a very experienced bartender and great service. Very good food and friendly people. They have music on several nights a week as well. My chicken Caesar salad was very fresh with excellent grilled chicken. All other meals including burgers and steak were great.... More

Mix live music, cozy digs, friendly staff, happy hour specials and competent pub grub and it's not hard to see why Rock Inn seems to be a Tripadvisor favorite. There's live music on most weekends, from Thursday (bluegrass night) to Sunday. Jon Pickett was soloing on acoustic guitar the Sunday evening we visited. We really enjoyed his music, a mix... More

Food is well prepared and more sophisticated than the usual burger/burrito fare. Atmosphere is very good and there is usually entertainment ... if not music, then the locals that eat here.

I wish I lived in Estes so we could go back more often. I will definitely make sure we stop in next time we are in town from Denver. They have call ahead seating which we did. They were busy but there was not a wait - we didn't arrive till 8:00 in the evening and it was Saturday night.... More

My husband, daughter, her boyfriend and I had a mid-afternoon dinner at this restaurant. It was quiet and the food was really good. I had the veggy medley and it was really nice. Others had french dip, chicken sandwich, and veggie flat bread. Everyone was very satisfied. Beer choices were great too. Great place to go after hiking in Rockey... More
