I went here based on the reviews on this site, and wasn't disappointed. The steaks were both very good, as was the bread and sweet potato fries. Service was quick, and while the guy singing the night I was there wasn't the greatest, it added to the kind of western ambiance. Definitely worth a visit if you're in town.

After a day of hiking, we wanted a casual but satisfying meal and stopped at the Rock InnMountain Tavern. The service was excellent. The atmosphere is decidedly large-bar-music-venue with a western decor. Happily (for us) there was no live music that night as we weren't in the mood for shouting over a band. The food was very good. I had... More

We go to Rock Inn every time we visit Estes Park (at least twice per year) and have always found it to be average or slightly above average. Our recent visit was not even that good. Two of us had beef stroganoff which was very bland and way more pasta than meat. My husband's flatiron steak was very salty and... More

This place had alot of things going for it. They do not take reservations, but you can call when you are on the way and they will put your name on the list - nice. We did not have to wait when we arrived and sat outside. The bar area outside was full of park personnel - having a great... More

Plenty of live music, really good food, helpful staff, lots of selection of drinks, and a great Western feel. This place has made our short list of spots to visit in Estes Park. Yes, we will be back.

Had a great trout meal in a rustic log-wood walls setting. Staff was attentive, but beware weekend nights which are very busy!

This restaurant has always had good food and a nice atmosphere, prices a bit high but OK, but our last visit was marred by a bizarre shouting match between the manager and another table of guests that the manager began because she did not approve of the way the father was disciplining his teenage son. While certainly the father was... More

Great food, prices & live music. It was a perfect choice. They had many gluten free options for me also. Our meals were delicious. We prefer going to local hangouts verses the tourist traps when we travel. This was the best food that we had when we were in Estes Park and value!

Very impressed with this long time staple of Estes! The staff was plentiful, well trained and knowledgeable...cute too! The food was very pleasing indeed. The appetizer called Devils on Horseback was one of the best things I have ever eaten! Dates stuffed with garlic, wrapped in bacon, then grilled and served with an aioli ....just wonderful. Dark Chocolate souffle is... More
