Great deal at happy hour meeting park rangers ending up their work week at the Rock Inn. Stayed for dinner and enjoyed the open mic session, esp the bass player!

we just stopped by to have a drink after a long day. We sat at the bar, had a drink, were talking to the bar tender, listened to the live music (some Fri., Sat. And Sun.) and had a good time. We didn't eat there although the dishes that went past us looked all great, but we already had dinner... More

We chose this restaurant because of the Trip Advisor reviews and because of the live music. Fortunately, we called ahead and when we arrived about 20 minutes later, we were seated immediately. Then we waited and waited. Server arrived about 7-8 minutes later and took our order. I wasn't impressed with the limited menu and settled on the special -... More

Loved both the trout and flat iron steak, The house Cabernet is very good, about $20 for the bottle.

Just outside the entrance of Rocky Mountain State Park entrance. Great location after a long day hiking and site seeing. Unfortunately, service and food quality were fair at best. On a busy Friday evening it took 45 minutes to be seated, followed by 15 minutes of no service. Finally I flagged down a server, in a matter of 2 minutes... More

The food is always great!!! I had the flat iron steak and it was fabulous!!! Our server, Kaci, was knowledgeable on the menu, sweet and very attentive. The entertainment was great! It was kind of like Open Mike Night, but with guitar and banjo pickers. What a great time.

We were staying next door at the RV Park so the Rock Inn was very convenient. We ate here 3 nights. Loved the small thin crust pizza. Very flavorful. The salad greens were very fresh. There was an acoustic guitar player Sunday night (Neal Whitlock) - excellent! Loved the wine and beer selections. Enjoyed the dim pub atmosphere. One night... More

My girlfriend says 3 stars, I say 2. The food was bland and pricy (to be expected outside a national park). Nothing special to write home about.

Sometimes you get what you pay for. In this case you get a lot more than what you pay for. I was extremely surprised by the prices when the food as so good. The Tavern has a great calm feel to it and it was loud like a normal restaurant. Great place to eat, it's a little outside of Estes... More
