This is a nice place to stop and stretch your legs after a very scenic ride. The restaurant is cafeteria style but the food is pretty good. The chili is flavorful and a good size serving for the price. The best seats are by the window.

The food was good. The views were excellent. All the people are very friendly. You just have to go and eat there if nothing else but to say you did.

By the time you get to this snack bar, you are probably ready for a break! I visited with my 8 yr old daughter after driving up Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park in June. The weather was warm and sunny, but there was still some snow and many people taking pictures in the snow (both at the snack shop... More

Eating at 12,000+ feet is always fun! The weather changes by the minute, and the view is incredible! The options are limited (it's hard to get food up that high!) but it's always hot, the service is good, and it's nice to sit down for a while and enjoy the scenery. The gift shop always has fun things to look... More

for a snack bar by the side of a high mountain road. Very friendly service; limited but tasty options (soup, bbq sandwiches, etc.) Incredible views. Definitely a good option while traveling through RMNP. And the store is great, too.

It's a long drive to get there but once you're up there you can grab a bite to eat and stay for awhile and enjoy the scenery. Coming from Nebraska I'm usually sucking wind climbing up the trails but it's al worth it.

We stopped here the first day and my husband had a sausage and sauerkraut sandwich and I had the smoked BBQ chicken sandwich... YUMM! The bun was fresh and the chicken piled mile high and delish. So much so that we stopped the following day just for another chicken sandwich... it was after 5:00 and it looked like it was... More

My family and I had the chili and hot chocolate and were impressed. We were not expecting much but came away satisfied. The cup of chili was almost $6 and the hot chocolate was $2. The views out of the windows are very nice. Service is slow but okay. They also offer pulled pork sandwiches and a couple other items.

If you consider where you are, and the total lack of alternatives unless you bring your own food, this place is NOT BAD. And, it's clean, efficient and the food is fresh. There are not enough healthy choices, though, unless you buy a prepackaged salad or sandwich and pick off the less healthy ingredients. It's pricey - but it supports... More

Remember it is a store not a restaurant. Nobody serves you. You pick what you want, pay for it, find yourself a table and enjoy. One of the highest located store in the Rockies at 11,796 feet. With spectacular views of the mountains and if lucky wild life views while you munch. The food and snack options are limited so... More
