Mountain Home continues to be the best place for breakfast in Estes Park (2013 & 2014). We found it on the first day of our 7 day vacation there in 2013 & didn't bother to look for another restaurant for breakfast before heading to the Park each day to hike. When we returned this year (2014) we ate all 7... More

This was a nice breakfast place with delicious food and an incredible menu. The place was quite busy on a Saturday in the off season, so I would be prepared to wait for a table or call ahead for reservations. The food was delicious, but the coffee was burnt and cold. They later made new coffee, but that is my... More

The Mountain Home Restaurant in Estes Park, CO, serves breakfast through 11AM. We've eaten there during visits to Estes Park for years. The food is excellent and the menu has just about anything that anyone could want. During summers, the place is almost always full. However, what impresses me most is the people who operate it -- Olga, Enrique, and their... More

My first experience on Saturday morning 10/11/14 was fast with friendly service. We had the biskets and gravey which was a very generious porton, extremely inexpensive and delicious. Also had the skillet that was so flavorful. The most impressive of all was the baked alaska oatmeal. What a great combination that was so different and out of this world delicious.... More

They really care about serving good food in a clean venue at Mountain Home. The place has been overhauled in the last couple of years so now it can't be beat when it comes to a good, healthy, hearty breakfast. Service is prompt and friendly, coffee is free-flowing, and the multi-grain pancake is presented with applesauce...yum! The breakfast burrito is... More

I selected the three grain waffle with scrambled eggs and sausage links. The food was served hot, and even the syrup was warm. This meal was quite filling and very satisfying. I also enjoyed the peacefulness of the dining experience which made it easy to carry on a conversation. The pleasing background instrumental music was very welcome. The staff was... More

Wife did okay with biscuits and gravy. I needed a bathroom after the skillet #1. It was mediocre at best. I would not go again or recommend.

Thus used to be one of my favorite places for breakfast and we hadn't been for a long time. I got my usual, Arizona hashbrowns and I have to say the over easy eggs were cooked to perfection, but the rest was just warm and the peppers it was supposed to have were very few, mostly just hashbrowns. But I... More

Excellent food and service. The menu has a large variety of items. The huevos rancheros held me until supper.

Cost is extremely affordable and service is great. The menu is diversified and has something for everyone in your group. Very simple decor but in the nice weather love sitting on the patio. I would recommend your Estes breakfast here.
