Good for families

We thought the food was pretty good for the money. Chips and salsa don't come with your meal but you can order it off the menu. Service was friendly. Prices were fair. Several kid options which was nice. The only thing we didn't like was the kids enchiladas were covered in a velvetta like... read more

I went there and had a chicken burger. The sandwich was pretty good. The portion of fries on the "hip" plate was tiny. The sandwich with a glass of tea and tip came to almost $18. That's pretty ridiculous. I won't go back. Like everything in Estes, it's underwhelming and expensive.

Several of us had the bison meat and it was just like ground beef, not more flavorful, like advertised. We went here on the high marks it gets on tripadvisor and I rarely disagree with these, but this time I can only say this restaurant was OK. No one loved their meal, but the food wasn't horrible either.

Ate here 2x during Estes stay and could have eaten here every day as food choices were so excellent, but being a tourist, we had to try other venues. Husband jammed with local musicians on Tuesday Open Mic night with Jon. Great fun and people.

Stopped in for an early dinner after walking around downtown Estes. Don't think I've ever had to pay for chips & salsa at a Mexican restaurant...we should have left at that point. Had a pork quesadilla that was terrible. Pork was completely unseasoned and very fatty. I don't know if there is better Mexican food in Estes, but I would... More

Ed's Cantina is located right on the River.......so the atmosphere is just perfect. We went for lunch and since I didn't see what I wanted, they were kind enough to accommodate my request. My cheese quesadilla with quacomole and pico was great. Linda tried the spicy carrot chilli which was delicious. I'd highly recommend Ed's.

Ed's Cantina has a relaxed, fun atmosphere even though their staff really moves to deliver great service, delicious food. We came mid-June, as the town was starting to fill up...and learned quickly to go early (no matter where you eat) the longest wait we had was 30 minutes and they took great effort to seat us in the back, as... The menu at Ed's has such variety, and things you wouldn't find at other Mexican-style restaurants. On a whim, I chose the Pozole - a very flavorful stew with carnitas, hominy, cilantro, cabbage and chilies. Heaven in a bowl.

Awful! I have eaten better Mexican food from a TV dinner. We ordered, chicken tacos, bison tacos and bison enchiladas. Chicken was so dry, it was inedible. Food was tasteless, re fried beans had no taste. Rice was so dry. I couldn't eat my chicken tacos without waiting for waitress to return and ask for some salsa. Then I only... More

We ate here in 2013 when we came to Estes Park and enjoyed it, so we thought we would have lunch here again. We did and had Buffalo Tacos, the flavor of the tacos were good, but a bit spicy, not too spicy to eat, but enough it covered some of the taste of the Buffalo. However it was good.
