We went to The Other Side on our recent vacation to Estes Park. We went on a Monday night so it wasn't busy. They were seating everyone upstairs, and we had a great seat by the window where we could watch the geese and ducks swimming and eating. I would say that the service was average. My husband had a... After a disastrous meal at Nicky's, we were happy to find the Other Side. It was recommended for steaks and it didn't disappoint. The French onion soup was particularly good, as was the service. Be sure you get reservations though.

Our experience here reminded me of an episode of Restaurant Impossible or Kitchen Nightmares. What's the number one thing they always tell them? "NEVER serve frozen food. It's just as easy and cheap to serve fresh and SO much BETTER." Several people recommended this place for brunch or the seafood buffet. We live south of Denver and frequent EP a... More

We had Sunday brunch with 4 kids under 5, 2 teenagers and 3 adults. The bill was reasonable; however I don’t think they should charge double the age for small kids. Our little ones did not eat even close to that amount worth of food. Our server was nice, but towards the end she fell off, then she brought the... More

We stopped in and were thrilled with the service quality of the food and the ambiance. Everyone we encountered was beyond friendly and attentive. A must stop in Estes Park

Estes Park is not known for its restaurants - we have had some truly bad experiences there. But this is the pearl among swine. The prices are very reasonable (premium beers for less than 4 bucks, too) and the food is really top-notch. I had the Yankee pot roast yesterday and almost couldn't finish it (and I'm a large guy).... More

This place has awesome food. Great service and a great view of the river. They accept the Rocky Card which makes it an exceptional deal. I would go and pay full price anytime. Blackeyed pea soup was great. Also had the hamburger, pot roast, country fried steak. The mashed potatoes were great. Actually, all of it was great!

We went to the other side because we had a coupon from the internet and were very pleased with our meal. Would go back even with out a coupon because the meal and the service were very good, even gave the oysters a try and was pleasantly surprised. They had a nice brine to them but needed to be served... More

My wife and I visited on a Friday night for the All You Can Eat Seafood Buffet. We were seated promptly buy a very pleasant hostess. Our server kept our drinks full and was quite attentive. The variety of food was amazing! The cod parmesan was outstanding as was the yellowfin tuna. I ate way too much and really enjoyed... More
