Many Visits, Many Approvals

I have eaten here many times over the years, generally for breakfast while camping. It's a nice place but they still treat you good if you come in filthy and reeking of a campfire. If you get a Rocky Card ($10 at the gift shop next door) you get buy one get one free meals. Great deal, good food... read more

Planner's Perspective: I was in charge of planning for my fraternity's formal. Whenever i called they were nothing short of friendly and helped me plan my formal. We had a few people with allergies and a couple vegetarians and they allowed us to add the entrees necessary for us to make sure everyone was happy. They were more than happy... More

Sunday lunchtime. Sadly the half of the restaurant that has nice views does not begin to make up for the uninspiring, diner-style dishes. Tuna melt comes with Kraft slice American processed cheese. Chicken wings are better at Safeway. Chicken fried steak and mash potatoes were mush. The Sunday brunch dishes looked just as uninspiring. Although the server was friendly, the... More

The food was quite reasonable. Try the Elk Burger. Go for the medium rare. Anything else is quite dry. My only complaint is the service. Slow would be a great rating. Views are wonderful.

We went for a Sunday brunch buffet and it was amazing. The variety and quality of food way exceeded our expectations. The smoked salmon was wonderful, as was the antipasti bar and the baked pastries.

Got a burger and it was like a diner burger. For the price I thought it would be better! The fries were burnt and cold! It was like diner food and the price was to much for what we got!

This place is a must to eat at in beautiful Estes Park. We have been coming here for years on vacation and they never disappoint us. Food is wonderful and the service is super. It is nice to see a few of the some employees year after year. They even gave the grandkids bread to feed the ducks!

We visited the restaurant on a Sunday for a late lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty. We came to the restaurant because of the view and wanted to sit by the windows. The hostess told us that side of the restaurant was closed and gave us a table with a view of the parking lot. I told the waitress that... More

I'm, sorry we were not able to accomadate your seating request at that time. Following our lunch or Sunday Brunch we close the Lakeside area for a period of time to clean and vaccum this area so that it is most presentable for our evening guests. Hope to be able to accomadate in the future at a different time of... More

The Other Side is one of the better restaurants and we have many excellent meals here, but on Saturday night it must have been an off night. I ordered a bone in rib eye, medium with house salad with their wonderful blue cheese dressing. well the salad never came, waitress forgot saying she was slammed with customers, the steak that... I ordered the scallops and mashed potatoes....literally melted in my mouth! It was not a super busy night, so the service was great, and my husband and I had a most relaxing dinner.
