We went here for lunch and for an evening meal both were good. In the evenings they are known to have a brown bear make an appearance. We didn't get to see him the night we were there but atmosphere was great in this restaurant.

This is a popular restaurant, so you probably need a reservation, or will have to wait like we did (spent time in the gift shop though, which was enjoyable). I had the mountain trout (can't get enough of Rocky mountains trout), and my husband had the wild game grill - 2 sausages and an elk chop. Both entrees were delicious.... More

The food was some of the best we had in Estes Park. However, I think it may be slightly overpriced. Wait staff is superb!

We had lunch at this restaurant and enjoyed it so much. We were seated at a table by the window that looked out over a little pond with ducks. So peaceful. We had the tuna melt sandwich and the roast beef and cheddar. Both were very good. Service was friendly and good. A definite "do-again".

We chose the restaurant because of good reviews here on Trip Advisor. Thank you previous reviewers!!! We likely would not have stopped without the reviews and you were right. We had been in CO all week including 3 days at the Broadmoor and this was the best meal! The fresh mountain trout is not to be missed. Good specials on... More

Most of our trips to Estes include a meal at The Other Side. It's in the center of things and offers all kinds of delicious family food. I split a Monte Cristo sandwich with my sister this time around and it was delicious. Others in our group of 10 were thoroughly satisfied. Nice for all ages. Western decor.

The server, Deliah, was awesome! Very attentive and pleasant. The food was not bad but just ok. I had broiled trout and it was good just not, "wow!, I want to go back and eat there again." The view was nice, it just felt like we had stepped back in time, like the early 80's…everything just seemed outdated. It has... More

We ate there on our last day in Estes. The breakfast was good, but the service was very slow. Could be because they were accommodating a tour bus while we were there. The hostess seemed a little overwhelmed. We probably will try it again because they had a great menu, but hope we beat the tour bus next time.

After multiple attempts to find parking at various restaurants on a Saturday evening the immediate appeal was the civilized parking lot. Nice location with a small lake, ducks and mountain backdrop. You will need to sit downstairs to enjoy the view. The interior is in need of updating. We were greeted and informed there were two dinner menu options and... More
