Yummy Trout

Try the fried trout. It's the least expense of the four preparation varieties, and the tastiest. Good service, lots to choose from. Convenient to YMCA of the Rockies.

We just ate at this restaurant and left saying, 'ycch'. The service people were all nice though not very knowledgable. The appetizer, baked brie with strawberry sauce was just ok. The bread, good. I ordered lamb chops which were greatly undercooked for medium rare, they were red inside, and they were also very grizzly. The mix of vegetables were tasteless,... More

Solid find. Not the 4 Seasons by any stretch. But for 20 bucks including champagne it was decent. Would do the brunch again next visit.

A great place for dinner. Good service from friendly staff, fantastic food for a fair price, decor is perfect for the mountain setting, and the view out the windows of the duck pond with the pine-covered nearby mountains, and snowpacked peaks in the distance...can't beat it.

We were directed to The Other Side by our motel accross the street. We choose the "casual" menu (they proposed also a more "upscale" menu) and ordered some traditional American fare. It was correct with generous portions (we make the classical mistake of sharing an appetizer and we were not able to get through the main courses). Service and prices... More

This is the only restaurant in Estes Park we ate at more than once on our visit. They have a varied menu and are open all day. I had a veggie omelet with hash browns for breakfast one morning and enjoyed them, but my husband did not like the biscuits and gravy. For lunch another day I had the Ruben... More

My husband chose this place because of the variety of meat they have. We are from Texas and he really wanted to eat some Elk so we came here and they did not disappoint. My husband loved his food and ate every bite! I had the chicken picatta and it was also grrat!

I've eaten here for brunch with extended family and dinner with my boyfriend. The older woman that works at the hostess desk is a rather unpleasant woman with a rude attitude and can be off-putting when she refuses to seat parties unless everyone is ready at once, even when one person is parking the car. We even had reservations but... More

I ordered a buffalo burger and my daughter ordered fish and chips. Neither of us was impressed nor did we finish our meals. Definitely won't be back.

This is an incredible place to dine with family & friends. The atmosphere is very cozy and makes you feel that you are one with nature, especially if you "score" a table by the windows. The food and service are very good with attention being given to you, the customer. It is a little pricey but in this case, you... More
