We had a very nice dinner here on 10/19/14. The service, however, was slow. Once our order was taken, the food came quickly and it was very good. But our server was missing in action for most of the night after that. Kind of surprising since the restaurant had few, very few, customers. Perhaps the staff was watching the Denver... More

We chose to go to the Otherside Restaurant in Estes Park last Friday night 10/17. The special that evening was the Mexican Buffet, Wow, so many plates, wonderful appetizers, especially the ceviche and the best desserts, especially the tres leche cake. YUM! The Otherside has these buffets every few months, so IF you are in town check to see when... More

We had eaten here our last trip to Estes and were pleasantly surprised - good service and good food. When we stopped in for breakfast there was a wait which we didn't mind. Soon after a bus pulled up with 31 customers - no reservation. I understand that can be a challenge, especially when they were already busy. We were... More

On our last night of six visiting RMNP we decided to try the Other Side. This was the best dinner we had during our stay. We both had filet mignon and the steaks were tender and cooked to order. The fresh baked bread was delicious. The view of the lake was gorgeous. Would eat here again.

In total, the experience was quite average. The menu is primarily diner food - burgers, hot roast beef or turkey w/ gravy, meat loaf, sandwiches, etc. We had a rueben and a burger - not bad but nothing that would make this become a destination for us. The setting isn't bad - you can watch the ducks in the pond... More

This restaurant was close to where we stayed and recommended by our hosts. Food was very good indeed, and my wife particularly liked that they offer a 'petite' sized steak (4oz). Hostess and waiter were very friendly, steaks were done exactly how we wanted them. The view from the restaurant out over the small lake and the Rocky Mountains was... More

The food was wholesome, generous portions and very good. We loved the quiet atmosphere and cleanliness. Our waitress was very sweet and courteous. We will go back when we're in the area again.

I took my Mom here this last week for part of her 80th birthday celebration. The hostess reserved an amazing window table for us, just as I had requested. She was pleasant and checked back with us several times during our meal. The waitress was FABulous!! Made the experience all the better. Our food was exceptional. My Mom said "... More

When we are in town my family and I always go to their buffet for Thanksgiving and Christmas. We like to eat early and sit by the window and watch the ducks in the pond. It's really a hoot when the pond and frozen and the ducks slide in. The food is consistently great at the holiday buffet. Only I... More

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner in the lower dining room by the pond. The service was very good and the food was well prepared, tasty, and a good value for the money. One surprise when we arrived was to find there are two dining rooms, each with a separate menu. We recommend choosing the lower dining room as it offers very... More
