My husband and I have been going to the Sun Deck for over 30 years. I was a little disappointed this time. We arrived around 2:30 PM, directly from Denver Airport. They had trout specials on their menu which looked good I had trout almondine with broccoli and my husband had a trout poached in a broth served with drawn... More

This is such a cute little restaurant with great service. The smoked salmon appetizer was wonderful. Pork Schnitzel was amazing! They offer a variety of wines. I really enjoyed the quaint atmosphere.

We visited this restaurant 2 times...each time was delicious! The employees were very friendly..the food was fresh and delicious! It was not frozen/fast restaurant food....also you have to get a homemade dessert before you leave!

So many different cultures, and the food is great. They hire a lot of students from ALL over the world, which makes dining more interesting.

The service was great, but it did not make up for the big bill for frozen food. There's a sign hanging in the restaurant that touts not to expect fast food. Wow, I think I would have preferred McDonalds. I'm vegetarian and choose the veggie burger after reading the description in the menu which made it sound like it was... More

Great service! We made reservations ahead of time; good thing we did since there would have been a wait otherwise. Very small sized restaurant and quite noisy. Serves "down home cooking"; food was okay but nothing special.

Stopped here for lunch. Loved the friendly staff. I had soup and my husband had a tuna sandwich. Both were tasty and very filling. I wish I would have tried the fish and chips. Table next to us was raving about them and kids even asked the waitress for more fish. Would definitely go again next time in Estes.

You know, when you eat in a restaurant at the crossroads of a town at the entrance of a national park, you don't have high expectations: actually, you expect the food to be a little ratty. This wasn't like that at all -- we were very pleasantly surprised. I got a salad plate, and all of it was fresh and... More

Came here to enjoy some trout and we certainly did! We ordered the special which was trout cooked with butter and yummy seasonings with crunchy sliced almonds, steamed vegetables and fresh tasting rolls. The trout was fillet at our table as the waitress did an excellent job at taking the bones out. Melt in your mouth goodness for sure! Also... More
