Living in Colorado, I have had the pleasure of eating at many "The Egg and I"s over the years at many different locations and have always enjoyed the food and our experiences. Unfortunately, choosing to eat at the one located in Estes Park, was a huge mistake. My husband, my 12 year old son as well as myself walked in... More

Belgium waffles are great. Our son tried the French eggs Benedict on a croissant-wow! My favorite is the fresh raspberry and granola pancake-so good!!

Wow! So many great menu items to choose from, it was hard to decide what to order. I finally settled on the whole wheat raspberry granola pancake platter, which came with scrambled eggs and bacon. Heavenly! Delicious and not too sweet. To top it off, it came with raspberry yogurt to spread on top of the pancake. I love breakfast... More

We stopped by The Egg and I for breakfast one morning before a hike and were pleasantly surprised. The menu had a large variety of interesting dishes, and we were very pleased with our choices. The Parisian Benedict was exceptionally good. A couple of days later we stopped in for lunch and I had one of the best reuben sandwiches... More

I really wanted to like this place - especially after seeing the reviews and the line out the door. Our server was less than friendly, which I can handle as long as the food is good. I ordered the waffle and eggs and sad to say, neither were good. The eggs had a really weird taste to them and I... More

Ate there for lunch one day and companions had sandwich which were super. I had 1/2 sandwich and bowl of soup. Sandwich was very good, but soup was lukewarm to say the best. I think it would have been good if it had been hotter. Ate there a couple of times for breakfast and it was very tasty.

Busy place, but we got seated right away! Very friendly staff. Wonderful food, lots of options for a vegetarian.

They have a good variety of breakfast dishes. Nice coffee with fresh pancakes really made our day after waiting for almost 30 mins in the queue. Well..it was memorial day weekend so the rush was evident. They are very conveniently located. Good service. Thumbs up!

I was surprised to learn this was a chain restaurant. The food was great, the variety was nice and the coffee was fresh! There is quite a line to get into the place, but it's worth it for a hearty breakfast.

Fairly typical food for a chain restaurant. Not bad, just average and with so many other options in town, I'd be hard pressed to return. The main reason we ate there was that they have earlier hours than many of the others, but as slow as service was it didn't really save us any time getting started on our hike.
