Best dining experience in Estes Park.

Good service, nice ambience and great food. Had the short rib pot roast and it was exceptional. Best I've ever had. The trout impressed as well.

Party of 8 who enjoyed a very nice meal at the View recently. Waitress Amy very good and enjoyable. However two things detracted from our enjoyment. One was the cost for the dinner salad which was $7 and the other was the automatic gratuity. Normally don't worry about the gratuity when the service is excellent but the menu specified a... More

My brother and now sister in law got married on the lake at Rocky Moutnain National Park and we had the reception at The View. Jessica was in charge of the event and did a great job for my family. The bartender (Alex) made sure we had a great time all night. And the chef of course made the meal... More

We ate at The View at the historic Crags on Friday, July 17, 2015 with 6 adults ...requested a table at the window to overlook Estes Park ... could see Lumpy Ridge and of course The Stanley through these paned windows. It was spectacular. Three of us had the Scallops, one had the Lamb, another the Beef Short Ribs and... More

Everything was spectacular from start to finish! The new manager Jessica was so helpful & accomodating from day one. We had a small reception so we reserved the private party room, which is cute as can be with mountain decor. For larger receptions or rehearsal dinners the main dining room is by far the best view in all of Estes... More

This place has everything: wonderful food, lodge ambiance, and views of mountains and Estes. We started with a fresh salad - yummy. Then the trout and duck - flavorful. Decided to splurge and split a dessert. The chocolate crème brulee with brandied cherries was so good that we practically left the bowl clean. I found the wine choices excellent!

We had a small 12 person wedding reception dinner in their private room. The view overlooking the city is fantastic, best I saw in any Estes restaurant the 8 days we were there. The food was magnificent! Everyone in our party was pleased with their entree, and more than satisfied with the portion size. The owners were around and very... More

This large dining room is located in the venerable, landmark Crags Resort overlooking downtown Estes Park. The view is magnificent. The pricy restaurant, however, needs work. The menu is limited and changes daily. The wine list is totally inadequate - no pino grigio at all, for instance. Our waitress did not know the nature of the "red sauce" on one... More

Had a wonderful dinner at the view. Staff was great and the food was awesome. Sat on a small balcony for two, with an incredible view. We had the duck and the lamb, both of which were great. In general I am more comfortable in a burger place, but this was great. Beautiful setting without being aloof.

Had a large family dinner of about 20 and they were very accommodating to our large group. Service was great as well as the food. Not a lot of great restaurants in Estes but this is one not to miss!
