Nice Spot!

Saw mixed reviews but my husband and I decided to give it a go in this little town of Estes Park, CO. We started with a nice warm hot chocolate with some added Kaluha. Granted I was very hungry when I got here but the cream cheese sun dried tomato elk burger was phenomenal. Great selection of Colorado beers on tap and in bottles/cans. Will definitely come back next time I'm in Estes

Thank you so much for giving us a try. There will always be mixed reviews with any business. Wild boar mushrooms are a new item for us. Thanks for the review More

I had the scotch eggs and my husband had the philly cheesesteak. Both were excellent. The special ale and wine were also wonderful.

We went in a busy Saturday lunchtime during the winter. They don't have many large tables, mostly four-tops. Service was friendly and fast. I had a yak burger that was really really good, others had beef and elk burgers and everyone enjoyed their food. We did not try dessert but they had a good selection of beers.

Restaurant is small. Food is of average quality and over-priced for the serving size. Staff is polite and helpful but not out right friendly.

We were in Estes Park during September during a very busy time, and all restaurants were very crowded. We entered the Grubsteak based on our ability to get a parking place close to it. The hostess took our name and said she would call us when a table was available. I asked if we could wait in the bar. She... More

My husband and I took a day trip up to Rocky Mountain National Park, traveling through Estes Park. Looking for something to eat for lunch, we stopped at Grubsteak. Whoa! What a treat! One look at the menu, we settled on Shrimp Cigars, Wold Boar Scotch Eggs and a Yak Classic burger. This was a most amazing meal! The ambiance,... More

We all ate the burgers and tried all of the different types of meat, I had the Guacamole burger made with Yak and it was delicious, my husband had the Bacon burger made with buffalo and we both loved...
