Went there on a Thursday night special. Have been there several times before and it never fails us. Food and service were good and we will be back again.

This is a great place to go. All members ( from 4 to 62 year) totally enjoyed their meal. We come here every time we come to Estes and they never fail us. Wonderful food and great service. The entire family totally recommends The Grubsteak.

My husband and I love eating lunch at the Grubsteak. The burgers here are juicy and cooked to order. I always get the beef burger but there is also elk and yak on the menu. If you can eat in the bar area (or outside during the warmer months) because the vibe is much better than in the front part... More

The 4 of us had a wonderful lunch. Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful. Loved the rustic atmosphere. We had elk, buffalo and beef burgers, all were very tasty. This restaurant does have many gluten free options.

Yak burger was excellent. Also the shrimp cigars were yummy too. Homemade ranch was good too. Only downside was we were seated in a crowded room. It was difficult to maneuver to the bathroom.

They have a lot of different things to try. My hubby and son had Yak, which was pretty good. I stuck to a nice calm Rueben which was tasty. Our waitress was very nice.

Some great American food options, meat eaters will not be disappointed. Some off the beaten path protein selections make it good for adventurous meat eaters too.

Nice little restaurant downtown Estes Park. We stopped for lunch and I had an elk burger (my first) that was done to order (medium rare). Very tasty served with monteray Jack Cheese and guacamole which had a nice bite to it. They had a wonderful variety of meats and toppings from which to choose when having a burger. They also...
