Not impressed!!

As we walked in we were ushered to the pub room. Pub room was almost empty. We went there for wild game dinner. Went there for the yak but they were out. Husband had the elk sirloin, said it was ok. I ordered the buffalo steak and sent it back, very tough. Shrimp cigars appetizer was good... read more

We did not eat lunch or dinner here and I asked another customer on the way out how their food was and they said that their burgers were great. We stopped in to have a couple of drinks and a quick appetizer. The "Shrimp Cigars" sounded good and were highly recommended by our waitress. They were like cardboard eggrolls with... More

Chose the Grubsteak for dinner while staying in Estes Park. Wasn't disappointed. Good food, not a bad price and beer was cold.

Me and my wife Ordered a sausage and egg appetizer, which was really good. We both ordered a filet mignon, her's medium rare, mine medium. They over-cooked hers, but they made it right, and made a new one to her liking. Not many places will do that. Once we got the right doneness, the steaks were amazing! The service was... More

Staff was friendly & the food was average for the cost. The drinks were good. If you want to enjoy the bar atmosphere then this is the spot.

Excellent place to eat with a great menu. The service was top notch, the food was exceptional, and the atmosphere was great. We had 6 people from our group eat here and all had something different. All enjoyed the food. Prices were good.

Wonderful burgers. Almost too much to eat. I had the elk burger and my husband had the buffalo. Both were cooked to perfection.. I would definitely recommend this restaurant

We returned to the Grubsteak because we had met while working there almost 30 years ago when it was called Isabella Birds. When we mentioned that to the waitress, the manager and staff came over to congratulate us, which made the night very special and memorable. The food was also good. We had a huge plate of nachos with guacamole,... More
