We always have enjoyed dining at The Grubsteak. Their menu has a wide variety of choices and meats. The hamburgers are always good, but the dinner entrees are very good as well. Our favorite is the buffalo meatloaf! Service is good and the servers are very pleasant. Well worth a visit!

This quaint little steak house was a nice delight to visit for dinner. We had hiked around Rocky Mtn National Park that day and were starving. The appetizer consisted of fresh home made chips and guacamole and cold Estes Park Stinger Beer! I enjoyed a nice rib eye, my guests had hamburgers and the chicken sandwich. What a nice place!

Great spot for lunch, especially if you want something different. Definitely a burger spot with a twist. Of course there is beef, but why not try the bison, elk, lamb or yak options. I've eaten all of the above except yak and my server encouraged me to get it cowboy style, cooked medium. DELICIOUS! I had one of the two... More

We were in Estes Park last week and after doing some shopping we decided to get something to eat for lunch. We had a table in the outdoor patio at the back of the restaurant. Not much of a view but a nice covered seating area that was good for the day--it was 85 degrees. We both had burgers and... More

Wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner. We shared the shrimp cigars, was very, very good. Be careful on biting into them though, the cream cheese I think is boiling. The choice of beer was good, except the one my wife wanted they where out of. I always like to try something different so I ordered the Yak... More

Our first choice for lunch had a long wait so we settled for Grubsteak. We were quickly seated out back under a tent at picnic table. Our food was ok, the beer selection was limited and expensive. Would probably choose a different place if we had to do it over again.

The food was delicious and the covered patio dining area was nice. Good menu selection with choices of different game. We ordered an appetizer that was initially forgotten so when it was served, it was on the house, which we appreciated. Our waitress was very friendly at first but never checked on us after our food was served. When we... More

We have eaten here twice during our stay in Estes Park. A menu with a lot of variety which gives you a chance to try items which may be new to you. All are tasty and well prepared. They can be very busy, but once you are seated service is prompt. Indoor seating or outside patio and a good drink... More

We had burgers instead of steak, it just seemed like the thing to do. They have all kinds of meat offerings. We had the yak burger, medium rare, it was delicious. Fries are OK and the atmosphere is fun. We ate at the bar because the place was packed. Craig, the bartender, was very colorful and friendly. We definitely will... More
