This is a little gem hiding in the corner of a shopping center. The food is plentiful with a varied menu. We were there for breakfast. Highly recommended!

Went for breakfast with 3 other people Sunday morning. Am a local but have been here before, preferring other options in town. But we do try to support the locals.... Anyway, walked in, music was loud, service was incredibly, painfully slow with no apologies, coffee refills not forthcoming, had to ask. But it was lukewarm anyway Over 45 minute wait... More

Hello this is Nailya, I'm the owner of Notchtop Cafe , I'm so sorry you had a bad experience with us. As you saw we were really slamed Sunday morning, and it's a good problem to have, being new in busness it's hard to predict the number of people, in slow season . I'm really doing my best, and I'm... I can say with sincerity I have never tasted muffins better than the ones baked at Notchtop. They're huge, soft, cakey, and filled with amazing things. I got the Rhubarb Walnut, which added just enough of a sour zing to perfectly match the sweetness of the muffin itself. Husband got the Chocolate Chip Cranberry and was also impressed. It was... Notch top is not a fancy restaurant, but has a hometown cafe feel. We went for breakfast on a busy Saturday morning and found the service a little slow - no problem since we weren't in a hurry and the server was quite friendly. As far as food, the menu is huge - almost too big. But the steak hash... More

Breakfast is my favorite and Notchtop did not disappoint! My boyfriend and I went on a Monday morning so the place was pretty empty and there was only one server, but the service was still great! I ordered the turkey bacon omelet with oatmeal and toast. Everything was great! We were about to drive back home to MN so I... More

Visited Notchtop for the first time this week while family was visiting from out of state. We waited 15 minutes for drinks and another 45 minutes for our food. Maybe they were short staffed but this was extremely frustrating. The waitress did credit the drinks but I don't think I will return. Food was good but the atmosphere inside isn't... More

Their pancakes are the best I've had in a restaurant…ever! Don't pass on them if you get a chance. Notchtop was the only place we found in Estes Park that had decent looking bagels. You can get a fairly healthy breakfast there of toasted bagel and cream cheese / peanut butter and a good size glass of skim milk. Yes... More

Really love this place. Service was friendly and adequate. Goo was delicious. Home cooked goodness. Plus they had some interesting vegetarian options, which was awesome for us!
