Every aspect of our Notchtop experience was average with the exception of the service which was good. The dining area is typical casual breakfast hole-in-the-wall and the food was unremarkable. It wasn't bad by any means it just wasn't memorable.

This place is in the strip mall near the Safeway grocery store & Stanley hotel, but don't be fooled by the tucked away location, this is a wonderful stop for a meal. We visit Estes Park every summer and stop her multiple times. Seriously, after a hike stop by for their smoothies and frozen lemonades, THEY ARE AMAZING! Great soup... More

During our stay in Estes Park we ate at many restaurants but i'd have to say that Notchtop was our favorite! The food was excellent. I had the Dragons Egg Rock Benedict with a side of hash browns. Everything was cooked to perfection and the benedict had an amazing sweet and spicy zing to it! My husband had the banana... More

We had breakfast at this cute little cafe twice. The first time our food was excellent: served piping hot and very delicious. The next day we returned, and this time the food was barely warm and pretty average. They seemed really short-staffed too. I might try it again in the future . . . if other options aren't available.

We went here because of the view. The food was better than the other reviews paint it. The coffee was as reviewed; medium roast, not acidic and pleasant to sip. Matt had a mango smoothly that he reports as worth a refill Brough had the chicken waffles and really loved the cheese melted into it. Matt had the Strawberry Cheesecake... More

This was such a great breakfast spot in Estes Park that we ate there both mornings we were there. Lots of healthy, unique and delicious options, most of which can be made vegetarian or vegan (yay for tofu!). The coffee was great too. Highly recommend! Just wish they were open for dinner because dinner options in EP are pretty crappy.

We loved this place. Our food was hot and tasty, and we were able to eat outside on their deck. While it is located in a strip mall, it still has a nicer view of the mountains than most places on the main drag in Estes.

We had the caveman breakfast, breakfast slider, french toast, and breakfast burrito. All were good but not award-winning. The coffee was very rich, fresh, and tasty! I'd go again just to try the pineapple coconut oatmeal...sounds amazing! Portion sizes are large and prices are reasonable. Good atmosphere ;)

Stopped here for a quick bite, before going to other attractions. The food was good, for the filling an emptiness. They offer a large menu for breakfast of lunch. we had a light lunch. Most of the food was just okay. Nothing really exciting on the menu. Offers include American and some Mexican entrees as well as vegetarian items. They... More

Breakfast done right! You don't need to be fancy to deliver a great breakfast. Notchtop came through with great execution and earned my 4 stars. I had the Denver omelet and it was very good. Hashbrowns were cooked perfectly and were actual hashbrowns. Not sure why most of the places in Colorado opts for "breakfast potatoes", for me hashbrowns are... More
