Elkhorn Avenue in Estes Park, CO, just West of Downtown and 4 miles from the main entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park located next to the historic Elkhorn Lodge on the Big Thompson River. I was really looking forward to a great pizza and drove by 3 TIMES in June!. There were no signs for the business hours??? That's why we were hopeful that we would finally hit this spot during business hours. The LAST time we stopped by was July 1. I went up to the back door and noticed a few signs... More

After reading all the great reviews on this place, we looked forward to giving it a try. Got there, no one there, closed! There are documents on the door stating something about rent and sanitation bills, etc. Disappointing!

We tried to go to this restaurant during our visit December 26-28. The establishment was closed. Not sure why. There was a sign on the door reporting a recent inspection? Perhaps call prior to visiting to make sure it has reopened. Maybe a seasonal thing.

Anyone who likes pizza you had better make this a must when in Estes Park. I truly believe this is the best pizza I have ever eaten, and I have had a lot. Great little mom and pop pizza shop. Check it out.

Loved the fresh ingredients especially the pizza sauce with fresh basil. Home made salad dressings were great. The owners were super friendly. The wood burning pizza oven makes the atmosphere warm. Very clean. Right on the river.

We are from the Chicago area where pizza is great but we both think think that Pizza in the park beats anything back home. The wood burning brink oven makes the best crust, crisp on the bottom but a little chewy on top with just a slight wood smoke taste. The toppings are all very fresh and the combinations they... More

The inviting smell of a wood fire as you open your car door in the parking lot makes this small restaurant appealing before you even open the door. The young man who waited on us was very friendly and told us about the pizza dough and sauce recipe coming from Italy. And this wood fired pizza did remind us of... More

We saw the restaurant on the way to RMNP and went back after watching the elk. It was great! We had one pizza and a calzone. The staff is very friendly, and we greatly enjoyed our time there. Definitely going back!
